PENN’s Blackjack debut marks PGA TOUR deal
Back in May, PENN launched PGA TOUR Blackjack, its first officially branded iGaming title, across New Jersey and Ontario. Like PGA TOUR Mines, it was developed in-house. It's a more traditional casino experience based around a conventional blackjack game, but with PGA TOUR-themed side bets and virtual cards.
The release marks PENN’s multi-year partnership with the PGA TOUR through ESPN BET. The collaborations further link the brands, with PGA TOUR live streaming available through ESPN+ and integrated into ESPN BET.
The PENN and PGA brand integration is available across all PENN platforms, letting users play games through ESPN BET or the Hollywood Casino app. Depending on regulatory approval, the partners plan more game and branded rollouts.
Record online casino growth amid broader strategic push
PENN’s expansion through its PGA TOUR partnership comes during a strong company performance. Its Q1 results show the business generated major momentum in its interactive segment, registering record iGaming revenue and impressive growth across platforms.
The quarterly report revealed $290.1 million in income, despite a $10 million hit from disappointing sports betting outcomes. Growth came from cross-platform engagement, especially in Pennsylvania and Michigan, where users spent more on retail and online casinos.
The report focused on the success of PENN’s multi-channel approach and noted continuing improvements to ESPN BET's app, including ESPN Fantasy integration and the Mint Club loyalty program launch. According to the report, as of March 31, 2025, PENN’s liquidity was $1.5 billion.
