To Qualify for the $1000 betED betting account:
- The contest winner must have a valid betED.com account. If you do not have one, please sign up for one here.
Note: you must follow the above link to signup for a betED account to be eligible for this promotion.
- Must deposit a minimum of $20 between March 1st and March 20th
- The minimum $20 deposit is eligible for any other qualifying betED bonus upon deposit and subject to regular betED bonus rules
- Once you signup and participate in this contest on Wagerline, simply email your betED username to mm08@beted.com to register
- Contest is open to new and existing betED account holders.

- Winning prize of a $1,000 betED.com betting account must be rolled over 5X in the Sportsbook prior to any withdrawal request (this means that your total wagering action must be $5,000 or more after the prize has been credited to your betED account prior to a withdrawal request is made).

How can I join the contest?
To play in the office pool, register to obtain a Wagerline username and password. Registration consists of selecting a username and filling in the following information: email address, password, first name, last name, street, city, state/province, zip/postal code. To win a prize you must be at least 18 years old, and you must provide a name, email address and physical address on your registration form so we can contact you if you win.
If you win a contest prize, it is very important you have accurate email and physical mailing address information on your account or you will not receive a prize.
How and when should I make my contest picks?
Once registered, you can make your picks anytime during the week up until games start. You can select as many or as few games as you wish. Each wager can be placed against the spread for 100 units. Once a wager is made on a particular game, you cannot wager that game again. The single wager limitation is to prevent unlimited picks from being made on a single game. Wagerline units are not real money. You are not required to pay any money to participate in this contest. Units are just a way to grade the handicapping performance of all contestants.
* Includes all games from both the NCAA Championship, NIT and CBI basketball tournaments – contest begins March 17th.
Contest Rules
- Prizes are awarded to the contestants with the most net units. See above for a list of the available prizes.
- Sports Direct Inc will make every effort to run the contest in a fair and efficient manner. However, certain events are beyond our control. For example, if Internet hardware or software problems cause us to lose entries, we are not liable. We reserve the right to void an entire week of the contest if we determine it is necessary in our sole discretion.
- To be eligible to receive merchandise prizes from any and all contests or promotions offered by Sports Direct Inc., entrants must be legal residents of the United States or Canada, 18 years of age or older (if the age of majority in a jurisdiction is different than 18, you must be the age of majority within your jurisdiction to be eligible to receive a prize) with a valid internet e-mail address. Employees of Sponsor, its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same of household of each such employee) are not eligible. Any and all contests and promotions offered by Sports Direct Inc. are void in all United States’ territories (e.g. Guam and Puerto Rico), and the Province of Quebec, and where prohibited by law. If a Canadian resident is deemed eligible to win a prize, in order to be awarded such prize, the Canadian resident will be required to correctly answer a time limited mathematical skill question. Eligibility, age, and all claims made by winners are subject to verification. Merchandise prizes for US-resident winners will be shipped to your home address only (no P.O. Boxes). Due to Revenue Canada Duty being applied to items being shipped into Canada, and to avoid the prizewinner having to pay duty, no merchandise prizes will be shipped across international borders. Canadian winners of merchandise prizes will be contacted and suitable arrangements made to ensure they receive a similar prize. Cash prizes will be sent anywhere in North America.
Please Note: Canadian residents are not eligible for the $1000 betED betting account. If a Canadian wins the contest, he or she will be eligible to win the value of the iPOD Nano.
- For this contest overall standings, members who are tied with equal units - the tie breaker rules are (1) winning percentage (2) Total number of picks (3) member who made the first pick within the contest (time stamp).
