Yes, cd's thread was about states with highest murder rates and Trump sending in military to those states, yet they were mainly Democratic states. I guess Tennessee would be the only exception. I do see your point, I was only questioning the data obtained from 2023 and 2022.

 I live in Illinois and we need the Marines.

If you live there and think you need them then not much else anyone can say...I live in California and they were needed to protect the LA area, which first started with protecting federal buildings...whether one agrees with ICE or not, the building structures needed protection...we all saw what happened in Portland and Minneapolis and other areas

That's probably the saddest thing and it took me a while to realize being miserable is comforting to them.

At this point of the mental disease, they have been psychologically hijacked by Antifa ideologies. Rage and anger have completely taken over their entire lives. They know not what they say. It's a blessing having an administration that can make the tough decisions and follow through on what needs to be done to Make America Safe Again. Case in point, officially labeling Antifa as a terrorist organization.

Yep, this fits most Democrats to a tee.  And when they can't debate (which most can't), they start shouting in public venues because that's all they can do to make a scene.  They don't debate on facts or common sense.  It's almost always emotion..   And when that doesn't work , they do the  unthinkable and start assassinating people.  2 attempts on Trump, and this loser that killed Kirk.  All in a span of 15 months.  

These people are really sinking into the abyss.     

What the dope in the other related thread doesn't realize is that policing is a city issue.. It's not even a state issue.  

States that are Republican can have Democrat mayors in their big cities, like Nashville, Memphis as examples.   It makes sense to look at who the Mayors are that govern the city where the murders are actually taking place, not zooming out to the state level. 

The biggest issue that needs to be driven home is that these progressive mayors in these democrat-run cities are the ones causing the problem, siding with perpetrators , instead of victims.  They are not changing the behaviour of perpetrators, and no-cash bail, and weak prosecuting attorneys only amplify the problem.

We still have too many (democrats) feeling sorry for someone when they break the law, instead of punishing them.  It's not society's problem.  Lock up these perps and make them serve their time.
