Rep. Andrew Clyde said during a House oversight committee hearing last Wednesday
that it was a "bald-faced lie" to call the riot an insurrection.
He said the riot, in which hundreds of Trump supporters breached the Capitol,
resembled a "normal tourist visit."
After Clyde's comments, a photographer shared a photo he had taken of Clyde
using furniture to barricade the House against rioters trying to force their way
in to disrupt the certification of President Joe Biden's election victory.

So......... it turns that trump's vehement charge this week, alleging Arizona election board officials
had DELETED all the Maricopa County voter files, was just another trump LIE.
Never happened.
Tuesday, the inexperienced "Cyber Ninjas" team doing a sham FRaudit
were forced to walk back their erroneously claim when they learned they
had access to these files all the time, they were just too incompetent to
know where to look.
It had to be pointed out to them.
And then, to cover up their incompetence and self-inflicted embarrassment,
they *LIED* (of course) and claimed they "found the DELETED files" 
Does anyone know if Fox News and/or trump has apologized for pushing this false claim??
It took 5 days of public outrage and pushing by CNN and MSNBC
but *finally* GOP House leaders decide they should condemn
dumbass remarks by the BIGOT Marjorie Taylor Greene

Greene's rejection of basic provable facts
is another GOP power grab
Now, by failing to punish another example of far right-wing zealotry in their ranks,
they risk further swelling a tide of violent threats and incivility that is now
a dominant feature in US politics and brings its own dangers.
It took five days for the Republican House leadership to respond
to the claim by Greene, a first-term Georgia congresswoman, that
requiring people to don masks in a pandemic was comparable to
the persecution of millions of person who were forced to wear fabric stars
by the Nazis and later taken off to extermination camps.
Greene's apparent escape from serious consequences for her rhetoric
cheapens one of history's worst crimes.
