i always look to make some 3rd round plays in the middle of the 2nd round or towards the end of it by doing exactly this.
its a great bet whatever happens...certainly a much better price than u will get IF, most likely when, the bruins play tb
whats the sharks price to win the west?

Im going to..im a little apprehensive because i just watched Tampa sweep my team, the Washington Capitals..thats 7 straight playoff games Tampa has won, but i still see Boston taking the series.

It doesnt matter...unload on the Bruins at +125 and then unload on the lightning when they open up as dogs around or a bit higher than that same price.
Profit is guaranteed.

Good to hear that, in sports anything is possible of course, but i feel better about it with a lot of you hockey guys liking the play also. Good luck and hope we both cash in on the Bruins.

Tampa is definitely hot but the same can be said for Boston who has won 4 playoff games in a row..i dont know if Tampa is anymore on a mission than any other team in the playoffs..ive always thought that saying is overused in sports, the mission is to win the stanley cup and they all want to win it, i dont think the Lightning players want it any more or any less than the Bruins players, it will come down to who plays better..i think they have equal motivation.

It's always easy to look good when you are playing a team without a goalie. Philly basically showed up in 1 game this series (Game 2) and Thomas stole it. On the flip side, the Caps scored in their own net the first 2 games vs Tampa and the third game took a PP goal off the board because of too many men on the ice. With so many one goal games, that is enough to do you in.
You can actually see some similarities between Montreal and Tampa with their quick speedy forwards except Tampa has 3 lines that can threaten to score while Montreal only had 1. So Boston should have some trouble in that regard. Tampa also has some physical guys like Downie and Malone, which Montreal doesn't to score some garbage goals.
Roloson has some very good numbers in his career vs Boston, half of which were with the Isles since he never played them with Tampa. Thomas has equally impressive, if not better, numbers and he was 3-0 vs Tampa this year.
I think Boucher is a better coach than Julien so he will certainly try and find a way to see what Montreal did to shut down the Krejci line. That is the key imo. The Flyers have done a terrible job with that. The Bergeron-Marchand duo is the Bruins best and most consistent threat so I can see the Bruins trying to match them up against St.Louis-Stamkos. Both teams have third lines that can do some damage. We hear a lot of the Moore line in Tampa but the Kelly-Peverley line was huge in Round 1.
Just some thoughts. Tampa made me look stupid sweeping the Caps so what the hell do I know?
The Bruins should be able to take advantage of the Tampa D, but I thought the Caps would too. Maybe its not as bad as I thought or maybe Boucher is doing a fantastic job shielding them from getting exposed.
