My only point which has been twisted is Regression will hit Daniels…. Certainly over drafted in Fantasy as a top 3 and will regress behind that O line and D coordinators catching up.

I am confused about something you posted last year in the post-season. You said Jayden Daniels was a star and that's why you took Washington as 3 point dogs in Tampa Bay but this year he's going to be mediocre at best. Is he a star or isn't he?

I’ll state again this kid is due for regression and will be this years CJ Stroud as a fantasy bust. Offensive line, d coordinator adjustments, and expectations will hurt Daniels. Has Scary Terry shown up to camp yet? Unfortunately Daniels is also a major injury risk
Per my tiers I have Hurts, Burrow, Mahomes, Nix ahead of Daniels placing him #7. I would even take Purdy ahead of him for value reasons

First of all JD5 is a QB nerd, a gym rat ,just wants to get better a lot like Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning. The Redskins have a cheat code in Jayden Daniels. There schedule is the same as all NFC East teams except for 3 games against different opponents. The Redskins are playing harder teams but I'm not worried about the raiders, bears chargers, dolphins Giants twice. There o-line will be better than last year with tunsil Coleman biadich cosmic and connerly. We have to find out if the defense is better especially the defensive line. As long as JD5 is upright the Redskins have a good chance to win any game that they play
I think Stroud had a good year last year when you understand he was playing behind a very bad offensive line. Sacked 52 times 2nd most in the league. When you have a bad O-line it makes life very difficult you're not supposed to excel. So much to worry about causes a ton of extra stress. Was there ever a year Brady or Manning had a bad 0-line. I don't know it'd be interesting to know never heard of them having one. But Texans still made the playoffs. I don't think Daniels will have a slump. I think he's just that good. As long as the 0-line do their job he'll excel. He's too accurate and crafty to just fall off and when he doesn't see what he likes he can just take off. Guys like that are pretty much a cheat code.
Right you are. I posted some numbers above showing how he had the best game by a rookie QB in the divisional round ever but not enough people are grasping how good this kid is. They will soon enough.
The first mistake is comparing Daniels to CJ Stroud. The Texans reside in the AFC South so he got to face division quarterbacks named Anthony Richardson, Trevor Lawrence, Gardner Minshew, Will Levis and Ryan Tannehill, hardly a Murderer's Row of quarterbacks if you'll pardon the baseball reference.
Your second mistake is underestimating how good a coach Dan Quinn is. The only thing that stopped him from beating the Patriots in the 2016 super bowl was Kyle Shanahan, who was calling terrible plays based on the situations they we're in. Did you notice how bad the Cowboys defense was last year? They finished the three previous seasons 7th, 5th and 5th in points allowed with Dan Quinn running the defense. He leaves and the defense drops to 31st in points allowed under Mike Zimmer.
The combination of Quinn and Daniels is a winning combination. Hop on board.

Actually in my thoughts…. The awesome combination last year was Kliff Kingsbury and Jaylen Daniels. I have more respect for Klingsbury than 90% OC’s. He’s the only thing I see to save Daniel’s and this squad’s regression.

Cheat code… good points. One thing there really isn’t an easy game in today’s NFL… so your Giants twice, Raiders, Chargers, Dolphins Bears is not easy. In fact, just my opinion they would not be favored by more than 8 in any of those matchups. Of those six games to finish 4-2 would be blessing. Now let’s look at the rest of the schedule

I have to disagree yet again here…he was in the running for MVP behind Allen, LJ, Barkley, Burrow and Goff. Was running away with Rookie of the Year until end of season when the also well coached Bo Nix stepped into the conversation and almost stole it…

He’s absolutely been grasped as MVP caliber… maybe in a couple years, but not with this current team and his limited rookie year experience. Kingsburry works magic though…so keep that in mind. Dudes got an awesome OC brain.
