Xavier Smith Muffed Punt

Quite possibly the worst football play of all time. I’ve never seen an in the moment mental collapse choke job like this.

Ball is in the air, Smith is trying to track it, he decided to sit on his ass on the field and try to catch the punted ball while sitting on his ass. Lololol

Nobody even touched this guy. Congrats for cementing your self in Rams lore for the rest of your life.

That was tough. Gifted SEA a TD. Luckily for LA backers the Seattle defensive back gifted one back later in the game.

 The Rams special teams have been far from "special" all season.

Didn’t he fall? 

nobody touched him, he fell on his own, ended up flat on his ass and tried to catch the ball on his ass. 

muffed punts and FG kickers have altered the trajectory of so many SB winners.

It was part of the script him to fumble to lose possession. He fumbled in the 2Q but recovered it. So he needed to make sure he did it right the second time around in the 3Q

He tripped backwards.  

But the Rams got it back right away.  The game was decided in the 4th when the Rams couldn't punch it in from the 6...

No they didn't. Seahawks scored a TD first play after recovering the fumble

I get the refs favoring one side some times, but to use the word SCRIPTED! with over 50+ players on both teams is kind of out there!

There has been former players who have said that it is scripted.

Last time I will reply and speak on this topic!

There have been hundred thousands of players that have retired or the so called former players, some made the team for maybe a week or 2 then CUT and never see the facility again! So what you are trying to believe is less than .0001%, not very good odds if you are a gambling man! Like I said I do see the favoring one team and HORRENDOUS calls in all sports in the BIGGEST of BIG games! but to use the word SCRIPT is out there.

Yes...but he's human. Anybody can make a mistake.  He'll have to live with it the rest of his life.

 What he meant was the Rams got the td they gave up on that muff punt back when Sea db got the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty to gift the Rams a 1st down on a 4th and 12 and the Rams got a td from that. So the muff punt that lead to a td was matched by the penalty that lead to a td. Rams had a chance at the end but couldn't finish the drive.
