Let’s have some fun with this shall we? Who does the Associated Press of Covers choose as the league MVP?
Stafford lost that opportunity by losing to the Falcons while throwing 3 picks.
Maye is the real deal, no true #1 receiver (okay maybe Diggs) but just a bunch of dawgs At TE and other wideouts coming out of no where. Maye in a land slide![]()

Common opinion as of today. What about the strength of schedule that the patriots played vs the rams? The fact that Stafford threw for 457 yards and 3 tds against the Seahawks in a 1 pt controversial loss?

Maybe Stanford imo despite the recent games. They’ve played the hardest schedule in the league while Maye has played the worst in fact I head the worst schedule in 25 years not sure if the radio guy was embellishing.
So I think it probably should be Stafford Hardest schedule vs. the easiest schedule and still Stafford has thrown for more yards, more tds 42 to 30, both have 8 ints even though Stafford has thrown a bunch lately. The other element is weighing out the weapons. That’s where Maye gets the votes and makes it tougher.

The weapons is a great argument. One could say that stafford should be expected to have great numbers with the two receivers on his team. It could also be said that the patriots were expected to have an excellent in season record this season with the opponents that they’ve faced. What puts stafford ahead for me is having the success that he’s had in the toughest division in the league. The Rams could easily have two wins against Seattle and certainly should have a win over Philly.

Yea it’s still tough because of Maye’s progression I think that’s one of the main reasons some think he should win. We saw some promise last year but no one expected this level of play so soon.

Definitely agree that Maye has come a long way. It’s not quite as surprising to me because the potential was there from the start. I think it’s a great debate between Stafford and Maye. As someone who believes stafford should win the award this year I have no problem saying this- going forward I’ll take an up and coming superstar in Drake Maye over an aging Stafford any day of the week.

Good stats. I’d like to see stafford up his game for the rest of the year and put any doubters to rest. I have no doubt that over the course of his career Drake Maye will do the same.
