Ok. I didn't start off week 6 in the green, but I could have. If Chicago would've taken the 3 from the first int, I would've covered. But total moot point cause a L is a L no matter how you got it. 16-11 on the year now and starting the week off in red. Gotta get back in the green. This week I'm looking at...
Kansas City -7.5
Pittsburgh +2.5
New Orleans +1
Tennessee +13.5
Kansas City is for real and Oakland isn't. Still, the public is on Oakland at 71%. That makes me like this pick even more. Pryor got to showcase his skills on prime time and has the public beliving. While Alex Smith goes about his business and just win games. People are waiting for Smith to fail and I don't see that happening. Especially not this week. At home, in Kansas City. Pryor is good but he has no one to back him. Smith has a defense that's ranked 7th overall, Jamaal Charles, who can beat teams on the ground and in the air, and Andy Reid as his head coach. Andy is familiar with an athletic qb as he coached Vick for 3 years in Philly. I believe he'll know how to stop Pryor. This is looking more and more like a pick for me instead of a lean.
Just like Pryor, Geno got to showcase his skills on prime time as well. Causing 75% of bets to go in their favor. And I'm pretty sure Pittsburgh 0-4 start helped out with that as well. But Pittsburgh had an extra week to prepare for Geno and the Jets and I believe they are eager to come out and get their first win. And with Bell healthy and giving Pittsburgh a running game, Ben will have a better chance of getting the ball to his receivers. Pittburgh's defense will make Geno panic and create turnovers and that's a recipe for success.
Diehard New Orleans Saints fan here and I just don't see us losing this game. Besides the fact that they are ranked 4th in total offense and 11th in total defense, they are underdogs. I know New England is New England and they are a great team but we are going into our bye week undefeated. Patriots are ranked 16th in total defense but 18th in total offense. The defense relies on Brady to score so they can take chances and create turnovers. But if the offense can't take advantages of turnovers, what good are they? We will get to Brady and score on their defense. Can Brady keep up with Brees? Can their defense stop our offense? I don't think Brady or their defense can, and I'm willing to put money on that.
Tennessee kept up and nearly beat KC last week but fell off towards the end. This week they play Seattle in Seattle and that's gonna be tough. Seattle is almost impossible to beat at home but -13.5?? I believe Tennessee's defense is good enough to keep this game close. And even though I believe Seattle will win, I don't see them covering the spread.
These are just leans at the moment but all 4 could possibly end up being official picks. Either way, feel free to discuss. Feedback is always appreciated.

I am also going with the Steelers straight up this week. The steelers are hungry for a win and I do not see Big Ben going 0-5. Jets will fold in this one.

i saw someone write "Dont try to catch a falling sword" in reference to the steelers. Honestly makes sense, not gonna back them until they get some type of momentum

The Jets are at home and are better on both sides of the ball.
Chasing the Steelers will get you burned. Bad teams are bad teams. They are a bad team.
