Colts are only 3 point favorites against this awful Steelers team that’s now missing one of its best defensive players in Elliot?! Are you kidding me. We just saw what the Packers did to them with the Steelers having zero answers. And this was a prime time spot, with all the motivation in the world, and extra rest to boot.
What’s the best team in the AFC (record wise) going to do the “paper thin curtain”? Shouldn’t this line be at least -5.5 or even -6 after what we saw?
Too good to be true?

I believe the look ahead line was Colts -1 or -1.5, practically a pick-em. So in that sense, you are getting line value after the loss. But I don’t see the value.

It just doesnt make sense so lets not overthink it, play it over. With the Colts bursting offense and Pits lazy D with injuries this game can go through the roof.

Yes, for sure. Anyone who watched that Steeler/Packer game knows how much Pitts sucks a$$ on defense. A truly gutless performance and now they face the hottest team in the league with one of the best running backs.
The money must be with the Colts so the books will need the underachieving Steelers on game day.

It is public perception/deception once again at work but this time the short lined favorite will not cover IMO. The Colts have been getting into the pockets of the bookmakers at a 6-2-0 ATS clip. Now do I have the stones to bet it.
I had these Steeler bums versus the Packers so I don't like to chase the same loser team. Looking like the public is favoring the Colts in this one.
I would need narcotics to bet the Steelers unless I go insane on game day. That line makes zero sense.

@Buffalobob89074 You know damn well that it's Pitt or no play at all. You just have to fight those demons from the last loss. Fwiw, from watching last night's game I would tip my cap to GB. They played a hell of a game. It wasn't so much Pitt being terrible. GL
The problem is that Pitt only became truly terrible once they lost their safety to injury. That defense gave up big play after big play. How will they compensate for that loss after a week of practice? These injuries mid game have a profound effect on the team in real time but less so after the replacement player has had a full week of practice. We saw this with the Warner injury in the Niners/Buccaneer's game. The Niners adjusted a week later and, at least for one game, were able to hide their deficiencies. But it only lasted a week, and that’s with Salah coaching up the defense. Can the Steelers duplicate a similar effort after losing their star safety?
