Take away the game against each other and the last five games show a bit of this. Sure, LAR came cross country and blew a late lead to CAR.
But the last 5 average rating of opponents are 1488 for LAR and 1431 for SEA.
The opponents record for LAR is 35-35 and for SEA 24-46.
Both teams are playing very well lately.
You can make a bit of a case that the only slight slippage for SEA on defense has been against the run. The one area that LAR has slightly improved is in the running game.
This looks to be a messy type of game where running and stopping the run should be a key factor.
But both defenses are pretty solid and the passing slight advantage that LAR might be taken away but it may not matter.
