The Patriots went 17-1-2 and 17-3 ATS in 1st halves this season as they kicked the crap out of every wussy team in their path (except for the Browns whom they led 9-7 at halftime but didn't cover).

The Seahawks, entering the season with a much higher profile and facing a tougher schedule, did well themselves in 1st halves, finishing 12-5-2 and 12-7 ATS (and 2-0 in the playoffs).

BetMGM and FanDuel are wiling to offer the Patriots +3.5 -120 in the first half while seemingly everyone else has +3 -110.

In other words, +3.5 -120 is unlikely to win. 

That is, from a statistical perspective, they f unlikely to win. But, from a progressive defensive cycle,new England WILL cover + 3.5 in 1st half. 

The way to bet this game if u like +4.5 is NE 1h + pts and if it hits be done or if it loses double up 2h and some bc if it loses 1h your getting a bigger line on 2h than +4.5 full game line

I wanted to bet Seahawks ML for the first half instead of the full game, which then I got paid more.  Since I'm betting in 5 figures, it makes a difference in the payout amount.

But, the Seahawks -3 at even money in the 1st half was as sharp as it gets.
