Is to sign Daunte Culpepper. Even if you want to give Matt Cassell a shot as the starter much like they did with Brady, they have to sign him. Unless you live in New England and watch the Patriots games, Matt Cassell is absolutely horrible. He managed to not lose the game today, but if you watched carefully, the Pats went into ultra-conservative mode on offense during the 2nd half. Other than that one long pass to Moss early on, they ran the ball and threw screens and outs.
You also have to keep in mind that the Pats were playing the Chiefs, who will most likely rank in the bottom part of the NFL in defense. Whether he starts or not, you HAVE to sign Daunte Culpepper. He wants to play, had some great times with Randy Moss, and I honestly believe they can move past the tough times and focus on winning.

The simple answer is to refund all season tickets. They're cooked. Maybe they're the 2nd best team in the east. But more likely, they finish behind the Jets and the Bills. 7-9, here we go.

have to give Cassell a chance, kid hasnt had an opportunity yet, he was good enough to be on usc, but backed up two hiesman trophy candidates, then to backup Brady, he's certainly played behind the best, Ill bet this kid has some talent given the chance, lets see how it goes, he is loaded with weapons, just like Brady. Also, local news reports Brady is going for an MIR tomorrow...So obviously the extent of the injury wont be known until then. I think the press is jumping the gun on this one, could be out for a month. Lastly, I wish Brett Favre had waited to sign with anyone, imagine Brett coming to this team?

Vinny isn't going to happen. He's what now...45? Culpepper is 31. He's played with Moss and been successful. Simms is a pansy with a weak arm. No Simms. Don't want Simms. That would be bad.

Chris Simms coming in for a physical is not a good sign however. I haven't heard a single thing about him wanting to play, and he hasn't shown much in his brief time as a starter in Tampa Bay. Culpepper was a premier quarterback in this league 3 or 4 years ago. He's available and has shown a strong interest in playing.

Strange view but Garcia would be a nice fit......then again.....I am a Jets fan......however, they need a TEAM player, and Garcia would do nicely after sailing under the radar for quite some time and saving Tampa after Jr's injury.........bring in a hotshot punk and they are done....Buff or Jets will win the division even with a Brady.....wouldnt dump a wad on Jets next week........Bad ass Bill will have something up his sleeve.
