Haven't really gotten off to a great start in the playoffs, but a strong finish is perfectly possibly. Went 2-0 yesterday with the Ravens/Titans UNDER and the Cardinals +10...let's see if we can keep it rolling.
Eagles vs. Giants OVER 38.5 (-110)
Really tough to pick the line on this one. The Giants have stumbled into the playoffs and haven't really played a meaningful game in well over a month. Pretty much since that game against Carolina for 1st place in the NFC. We all saw how well that turned out for Jake Delhomme and the Panthers last night. Anyone who wants to tell me that Eli Manning is not just as capable of throwing 5 INT's, please step right up. The Giants and the Panthers are the same type of team, pound it on the ground, and hit the occasional big play, but win the game with defense. The Panthers weren't able to keep to their game plan last night. The Eagles on the other hand are possibly the hottest team in football right now. McNabb has been playing well, and more importantly, they are all healthy. It's going to be a great game, and either way I see it coming down to a field goal to win the game for either team.
The reason why I see it going over 40 points is that in the most recent game between these two, the Giants looked like they just didn't care. They didn't stick to the ground game. Only 18 rushes between Jacobs and Ward. They allowed the Eagles to control the game the entire way through. I think Tom Coughlin will get back to the way they like to play at home. Run to set up the pass. There will be several deep plays to Toomer, Boss, and Smith in this one. On the other hand, the Eagles have Brian Westbrook fully healthy. He is guaranteed to have at least one or two big plays, and with Donovan playing with a new confidence, they should be able to keep up with the Giants every step of the way.
Prediction: Eagles 24 Giants 21 (Just because I HATE the Giants)
