Dogs have won straight up in five of the last six Super Bowls, only Rams (-4.5) beat Bengals but failed to cover with a three points win.
I like Rams winning again this year but looking up on the above "trend", got to get some discourage.

Good point. Can't count out Denver next week, I guess.

Denver defense will keep them in the game like the Texans defense kept them in the game vs Pats, but 6 turnovers by the Texans offense (4 picks by Stroud) was disastrous. If Stidham can play it safe, I believe the Broncos can cover, I dont think Broncos can win SU tho. Then again, Carson Wentz was injured, Nick Foles won back to back in playoffs as home dogs & then beat the mighty Patriots in the SB.

No you can’t count out Denver and you also can’t look at the patriots last two games as quality wins.
The charger game was a joke. Herbert couldn’t do anything behind that offensive line. And let’s be serious about what we watched today with Houston. CJ Stroud was the MVP for the Patriots. Imagine a game where CJ has zero turnovers or dare I say it, if they benched him at halftime and brought in Mills.
Any Patriots line right now has to have a bit of overreaction built into it. I think NE -3.5 is plenty fair to Denver. Let’s not forget that Drake Maye is a second year qb with turnover issues…

I do remember Nick Foles, I took Eagles and won a couple of playoff games, including that Super Bowl. Denver has some stout defense that's for sure, #1 in sack and #2 in total defense and points allowed per game. It's tough to beat a stout defense at home, and Mile High also has great home record in the playoffs. Good luck! ![]()

Granted, Pats' pass rush and blitz schemes have rattled CJ Strout in that matchup. Strout just could not handle them and committed way too many miscues. I have no doubt Patriots are a good football team, but they are a young one. I assume playing away in a championship game is a very tough assignment for a young QB and a team. I am not sure how Jarrett Stidham will show up in next week but I do like to grab points on a better defense playing at home. Will Stidham play worse than Strout? Sean Payton appears to be an experienced and playoffs winning head coach, he may come up with something good stuffs for his team next week. We are about to see in a week. Good luck! ![]()
