Agree with you. A better team with a more experienced QB. I think the Pats O- line will struggle in a few spots. If Seattle doesn’t turn the ball over they should win easily

I have a position on Seattle -4 from basically immediately after the NFCCG. I’ve gone back and forth on whether or not I want to get out of it. Ultimately I just can’t come up with enough reasons why the Patriots should win/cover. I’m happy I got -4 because I don’t love the idea of laying more than 3 in any game where the dog has a realistic chance to win outright. -4.5 might make me a little nervous, but as we all know the spread doesn’t come into play that often. And generally if the favorite wins you can lay the number and cash your ticket.
At the end of the day you’re getting basically the best overall team in football, at less than a TD, with an elite defense/special teams unit. In backing the Patriots you’re just praying for a sensational game from Drake Maye in which he has heroic moments as a SB underdog in his SECOND SEASON IN THE NFL. If it happens and I lose I can live with that. What I can’t live with is trying to get cute backing the dog and then potentially watching them get steamrolled. And afterwards saying to myself how could I be so stupid?

Lots of folks riding the Sam Darnold Ghost Seeing train. Trust me, I am the president of the Sam Darnold sucks club. I’ve never liked him. I’ve seen the panic stricken moments enough that I’ve bet on him to throw 1 or multiple interceptions at least 5 times this year. But this guy is maturing as a professional and we all have to admit it. I think it’s more likely that we will see a confident and prepared Sam Darnold. He knows he can play well and he knows that his team and coaches will back him up to the bitter end. And he’s earned that.
