I'm curious if beating two teams they know very well helps or hurts them on Sunday.

They beat those teams 4 of the last 5 games 2-0 vs both

I can see that. It couldn’t be done when there were two byes and fewer playoff teams. 3 teams made it from the NFC North last year. The first that has to happen is 3 teams from one division which doesn’t happen every year, secondly those 3 teams have to all win at least one playoff game, which is not easy in the playoffs.
