Justin Herbert had 3.5 seconds to throw vs the Pats, the highest time to throw of any playoff game ever.
Still got sacked 6 times and hit 11 times, 5.1 yards per pass.
Was the Chargers o line really all that bad?
How often was he blitzed? I can't remember from just watching the game once.
If anyone watched all 22 yet, or has any wr separation #'s on routes run, I'd be interested in hearing it.
I think it's important for the upcoming Texans and Patriots game. Can the Pats D apply the same pressure on Stroud as they did to Herbert. Or was it just Herbert completely failing from the quarterback position?

I saw on espn Herbert has the 2cd worst QBPR in history of the playoffs not sure if that dates back to a given year.
Only Andy Dalton is worse.
He seems to come up short in the playoffs.
Sounds similar to P. Manning who was 1 and done like 3,4, years before finally winning his 1st playoff game I think was 2003 over KC with Trent Green at QB.
So maybe not the Pats defense, might just be Herbert and the Chargers coaching/ receivers, offense itself.
But he only as like 3 or 4 playoff games, not exactly a large enough sample size . But it sure is interesting that he has not played well at all in the playoffs.

Seems like Herbert Choked.. but they also gave up on the run didn’t help Herbert that’s for sure.. I mean with those weapons you have to establish some sort of run game to open up the pass game.. but 3.5 seconds is plenty of time.. so there’s no excuse.. sounds like he played scared..
I was surprised considering how Harbough coaches.. literally Run game and defense has been his bread and butter on every team he has coached.. he’s never had a good quarterback unless you count Luck but that can be debatable in my opinion..
note to self Chargers regular season.. playoffs stay away.. Herbert is a good quarterback until the playoffs..or until he proves me wrong
Winning isn’t everything.. It’s the Only thing.

Out of sudden, Patriots pash rush become so good for a reason. Will Patriots be able to do the same pash rush this week ? It remains to be seen, however I believe Texans defense will get to Drake Maye.

He absolutely took a beating with all the hits, sacks, and when he got tackled on runs.
Thats a cool stat if its true I just don't see how it can be. No way they kept track of stuff like that a long time ago. I wouldnt think even 20 years.

He had time to throw but just hesitated to let it rip. And when he did pass it to open receivers it was either under or over thrown. He was terrible. The blame is on him and on the OC. The defense did their job. Even got an int and set them up at the goal line only to have a turnover on downs. What a time to have their worse offensive game of the season and it starts with the qb. Herbert is overrated
