patriots bad publicity

Is it crazy to think nfl doesn't want patriots in sb because of the assault allegations against two players?   Story has been buried but during media week it could become a major distraction.  If this is true broncos will get the calls.

You're reaching.  I think the NFL would rather not have a backup QB the general public has never heard of in the Super Bowl. 

i dont care either way.  i asked does the league care.  nfl screwed cowboys blatanly when zeke elliot fought suspension for abuse allegations and they missed playoffs.  league cares about that crap cause they want more women watching imo.

hernandez was arrested in summer of 2013. happened in the offseason   team released him patriots didnt make the sb that year or the year before.  not comparable.

lewis murder was a year before they made the sb so comparision is valid.  he won mvp and was not on wheeties box and they didnt do the old going to disney world thing with him.  

If lewis thing happenend now I doubt they make the sb.  nfl is alot more pc now and wants women viewers as evidenced by the taylor swift bs, but maybe ur right and they don't care.

The Super Bowl is the most watch television event in America. They already charge out the ass for ads and sponsors. You people thinking they don’t want this or that because people won’t tune into the Super Bowl is amazing. I can’t remember the last Super Bowl I did not watch.

Nothing would surprise me anymore in this incredibly powerful  Natl Entertainment League.  All bout ratings and revenues baby.  Through any means.  However,  Kraft and Goodell  used to be very tight before deflategate. And he is Chmn of The NFL Broadcasting Committee and negotiates all tv contracts.  Many claim he and Jones huge impact in his ascension and the NFLs.
