NFC South
BUCCANEERS -3 Panthers - Carolina has alternated wins and losses over their last ten games, and going back to last season are 12-0 ATS as a dog off a SU loss. Tampa Bay is in the midst of a 1-7 SU, 0-8 ATS free fall since their bye week. It's hard to trust them as chalk here, and even if they win this game the Panthers would still win the division title if the Falcons beat the Saints. Which leads us to THIS game.....
FALCONS -3' Saints - Both teams are eliminated but are finishing strong. New Orleans has won four straight while Atlanta has won their last three, and are off a Monday night upset win over the Rams. Flip a coin in this one.
NFC West
Seahawks -1' 49ERS - This game is a winner take all for the division title and the number one seed in the NFC playoffs. Seattle is on the road for the second straight week, off a convincing 27-10 win at Carolina. San Francisco outscored Chicago last week, 42-38, and have scored 127 total points over their last three games. That's simply not sustainable, and the Seahawks will present by far their biggest challenge since their Week Ten loss to the Rams.
RAMS -7' Cardinals - How motivated the Rams will be in this Sunday late game depends on who wins the division. A Seattle win would lock up the number five seed for L.A. and a date with the weak sister NFC South winner, while a San Francisco win would drop the Rams to the sixth seed, and a road trip to Philadelphia or Chicago. In other words, if the Seahawks win the West, expect an all out effort against Arizona. Also, expect this line to go up dramatically. However if the Niners win, don't expect the Rams starters to play much in this game, if at all.
AFC South
TEXANS -10' Colts
JAGUARS -13' Titans
Houston needs a win a and Jacksonville loss to Tennessee to capture the division title, which seems as about as likely as a snowstorm in July. The goal for both teams is to win and avoid injuries, which would make the Jags a three seed and the Texans a five seed (I think).
NFC North
VIKINGS -7' Packers - Nothing to see here. Green Bay is locked into the number seven seed in the NFC and will be resting their starters. Minny has been eliminated for weeks but has won their last four games (4-0 ATS).
BEARS -3 Lions - Detroit has faded badly in the second half of the season, going 3-6 SU (2-7 ATS) and dropping their last three and out of the playoffs. A Chicago win or a Philadelphia loss locks up the the two seed for the division champs.
NFC East
Cowboys -3' GIANTS - A meaningless game. I wouldn't be shocked if the Giants pulled off the upset.
EAGLES -4 Redskins - Philadelphia has locked up the division, and judging from this line is planning to rest their starters.
