I didn't start posting this season until a few weeks in. Despite popping in a reading through Covers and the forums on and off for many years I have never really posted and it was a goal of mine to get a little more deliberate in betting and talk to people more this year. My actual NFL net units was just over 12. The discrepancy being the first few weeks I didn't post, live bets, and probably a few last minute bets I never posted. I enjoyed starting posting and having some conversations about bets. I intended to write some thoughts and analysis with picks but the time involved just for posting sometimes is significant to me.
It is ending as a disappointing season for me. I was at +25 units the year before. This season I was closing in on the +40u mark halfway through the season and gave it all back in the second half of season. Player Props for me fell off a cliff second half of season. I also had a especially hard time on Thursday night games bets both sides and totals along with player props. That will be a focus to figure out next season because there is no chance of not betting stand alone Thursday night games! If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
I spent some time towards end of season trying to figure out 1st Half sides and totals and I plan to work on that this off season and make it a larger part of betting volume next year. Then probably zeroing in more on Player props and probably dropping the volume a bit on those.
