People love to discuss the trends & stats, the regular season, playoff game performances, strength of schedule, blah blah blah. But we all know that in the NFL, literally any team can win any game. So let me discuss a regular season game, past SB games, etc.
Take for instance week 15 when 44yo Philip Rivers played in his 1st NFL game in years with Indy who went into Sea and were under 1 minute from upsetting the 12.5 point favorite Seahawks who got a FG to win w/less than 20 seconds left.
Or remember the Den/Sea SB where Den was favored by a field goal, ended up snapping the ball over Peyton's head on THE 1ST PLAY! and then ended up turning the ball over 4 times and giving up 3 TD's to Sea DEF/ST.
There have been multiple SB's with double digit dogs who have won the game outright.
Since 2000, I think 11 SB's have been decided by 4 points or less.
I'm going to take the sucker bet and go with the over 45.5
Tease Pats+10.5/over 39.5
