Lot of things to consider here just as there was last night. I think Philly was flat vs Chicago because it was a stupid black friday game after they lost to Dallas.
But, until they actually turn things around I'm not taking them to win games on the road, all the way out west, even vs the Chargers who are always overrated and underachieve pretty much every season in recent memory.
You could look at all the different things with injuries etc but I'm gonna pick this one based off the Chargers having the 2nd best 3rd down offense and 5th best 3rd down defense (in %, in actual conversions they are number 1) while Philly is at 28th in both offense and defense in that stat. That's the biggest discrepancy i could find with these two teams.
It's a simple strategy and this isn't a great game to bet anyway so I'm just rolling with it for a unit. The Eagles defense somehow has the top (as in least) pass completion percentage allowed while one of the worst in yards per completion allowed. Lately they have really gotten torched through the air.
They're in a flat spot and this isn't an easy spot to break out of it. They get the Raiders and Washington twice after this so they can still win the division pretty easily just by taking care of those two bad teams.
