First congrats to both teams. Seattle reminds me a lot like the St. Louis rams that pats played in superbowl. That offense is incredible. Sam’s having a career year. If weather is good no wet ball give me maye, Josh and vrabel and especially the points. Should be a great game.

I’m a UNC fan so I have watched every game the Drake Maye has played in college and pro. I only remember two games at UNC where there was significant rain, his first career start against Florida A & M where he had 5 TD’s I don’t remember if he had any INT’s in that game, and the Holiday Bowl vs Oregon where he had 3 TD’s and no INT’s.
people need to understand these games aren’t being played in video game mode. Extreme weather is going to affect almost every QB throwing. Somehow the default for judging Maye has been he’s getting exposed because of sos or playing better teams, what have you, but to try and give as fair and unbiased critique as I can though I’m a UNC and Drake fan, he is only 23 and he is the second youngest QB to ever play in a Super Bowl. He will be 4 days older than Dan Marino was when he takes the field. All of this is pretty new to him.
but in all of this where the people who say he has played poorly in the playoffs, ultimately it has been 3 games in EXTREME weather and he ultimately played better than all 3 QB’s did in those same conditions. Against the Chargers it was cold and wind gusts up to 25 MPH, Texans game heavy rain, Broncos heavy snow in the second half, yeT he ultimately played better than his counterpart and made enough plays to win.
if anything I don’t think Drake has a ton of experience of playing in bad weather as North. Carolina isn’t exactly known for bad weather. Like everything this 23 year old is doing, he’s learning and gaining more experience in all these different situations along the way. He is far from a finished product.

I feel like this is something most people who are handicapping this game are not taking into consideration. After playing every game except one since December in cold weather/precipitation/high winds, this game is going to almost feel like playing in a dome for the Patriots offense.
