I don’t think there is a coach in the NFL who has paid his dues more than Kyle. He's the coach of the year in my estimation.
Rams shocking loss has opened the door for the Niners. Shanahan is now in position to clinch the NFC 1 seed and a bye if the Niners can win out, go 3-0 their last 3 games.
Secure the bye and you’re 1 win away from the NFCCG. Maybe the football gods shine bright on Shanny this time.

I can see this happening. If they get to that last game with a chance to win the NFC West, they will beat Seattle at home. Then they are only two wins away from hosting the SB!
Super Bowl LX (60) in 2026 will be held on

He is a good coach doesn't fall from the tree like his daddy. But roster has been and is full of injury prone and now aging players. They have one of the weakest schedules but still have played well in lieu of their own injury and roster depletions. That should be exposed in the playoffs unless their opponent is as beleaguered as they are. He is deserving of it but unlike his daddy he can't win in playoffs or super bowl. Johnson and Macdonald are very eligible as well.

Part of the reason that Rams lost last night, their special team gave away 10 points to the Seahawks, including seven points from punt return TD and one missed field goal try by Harrison Mevis.
