Home favorites of 2.5 points or less are 9-1 s/'66.

I do love my spreadsheets. 

I get 5-2 ATS for Home favs of -2.5 or less in championship games.

How did you search it?

Home Favs of -1 to -2.5 is 5-2 ATS

Also Home Favs of Pk to -2.5 are 6-3 ATS & both are since 1966 in the championship games.

What did you use to search that, Google or something else?

Went back, recounted, and I missed one. 9-2 SU s/'66.

1968 Jets -2 vs Raiders 27-23W

1971 Dolphins -1 vs Colts 21-0W

1982 Dolphins -1 vs Jets 14-0W

1987 Redskins -2.5 vs Vikings 17-10W

1987 Broncos -2.5 vs Browns 38-33W

2006 Bears -2.5 vs Saints 39-14W

2011 49ers -2 vs Giants 17-20L OT

2022 Chiefs -1.5 vs Bengals 23-20W

2022 Eagles -2.5 vs 49ers 31-7W

2024 Chiefs -1.5 vs Bills 32-29W

Using Pro Reference, it has Skins -3 vs Vikings in 1987....also Broncos -3 vs Browns in 1987...also in 2006, I have Bears -3 vs Saints....I'm gonna go back to my own database when I get home to see where my losses are at & post my games on here if you don't mind.

But like I said before, depending on the database you are using, everyone can get different results because of the closing betting line can be different depending on the book you receive the line from.

Using Gimme the Dog's database which goes back to 1989:

PO = 1 and HF and line > -2.7 (Not exactly difficult or tricky Sports Data Query Language.)

SU:  11-16 (-3.1,40.7%)

ATS:  8-19 (-5.3,29.6%)

I certainly view LAR as a live underdog.  Good luck everybody.

Dog, hes talking about just the championship game. Are your results from just the CG?

No, but Gimme the DOG's SDQL does allow queries for game type, and the abbreviations are WC, DR, CH, SB.

PO = 1 and HF and line > -2.7 and game type = CH

SU:  2-1 (0.8,66.7%)

ATS:  2-1 (-0.7,66.7%)  There is nothing convincing about a 3-game sample, especially with a negative average ATS margin.
