I always bet this game very small just for fun, usually take the Under but instead I'm gonna fade the Cards and take the Panthers Moneyline for .25 of a unit, literally beer and pizza money.
With them having a new coach and being the longest odds to make the playoffs you might think they're gonna want to show out a bit, but I think any time you have a new system being installed usually guys are not on the same page early on, get lots of pre snap penalties etc., and they're starting a rookie.
Canales having a bad preseason record doesn't mean anything to me, in coin flip games I'd actually rather take the guy who is 1-5 or whatever because things will usually average out. I don't think it's a reflection on his attitude or prep to these games, as they are pretty random events.
