Made it to the championship with a pretty decent shot to take it. Curious to hear some lineup opinions from the covers community.
Problem #1 TE
So Tyler Warren was awesome for me this year. Well…I just dropped him. So far with Rivers at qb Warren has been useless and I just can’t gamble on him at this point. I just picked up both Taysom Hill (yes he’s a TE) and Jake Tonges. Hill provides some upside as the lead ball carrier at RB last week. Also getting potential to be part of a trick play at qb and possibly even catch a ball or two. Kind of a Swiss Army knife player that Probably needs to score a TD to get decent points.
Option 2 is Jake Tonges. Probably the safer play if Kittle is out. Tonges has proven to be a reliable backup and made a great catch for a non-touchdown touchdown last week. Definitely think Purdy trusts and utilizes him vs Chicago. FYI, your usual suspects are available on the waiver wire- Theo Johnson, Evan engram, Colby Parkinson, Cade otton…
Problem #2 WR
So my wrs are what got me here. Currently have Puka, AJ Brown, Tet McMillan, Troy Franklin. Also just added Romeo Doubs, Alec Pierce, and Parker Washington.
Not really an obvious issue here…but…
Puka is an obvious must start. AJ Brown could be playing in a very bad weather game. Tet goes up against a Seattle defense that may torture Bryce Young. Personally I’m high on Troy Franklin this week. I’ve loaded up on his receiving prop at o35.5. With Pat Bryant likely out, Troy becomes a top target in this Denver offense vs an injured KC secondary with nothing to play for. Parker Washington is an interesting option too…but the question becomes who do you sit? Obviously playing a wr in the flex spot.
Problem #3 RB
Lost Quinshon Judkins to injury last week. Currently starting Devon Achane and Michael Carter. Anybody off the waiver wire that could be better than Carter??
Open to all advice from the covers family. $2k on the line here fellas. Help me make it a merry Christmas weekend!
