I mean they are 4-0 at Seattle right!?
No shot! Here's why:
The public think it will be a revenge game for 49ers. But Seattle shut down 49er just 2 weeks ago with one of the best weapon (Kittle) in the line up. Now he is out. Public tend to only see the last game. The 49er just won the defending champions. So everyone is back on the bandwagaon. However, in week 1, even with 49ers at full strength and Sam Darnold 1st game with the Seahawks, Sea was in the red zone for a game-winning score. If it wasn't for a great strip sack by Nick Bosa, Seattle already win that game. Now without Bosa, Warner nor Kittle, there's no way 49ers will be able to hang around. Also of note, traveling in the NFL can take a toll on a team. SF travel back-to-back weeks AND play again on a short week. I wouldn't be surprise if Vegas let have this game be close in the 1st half so the public can pound on the 49ers more in the 2nd half. But Seattle will shut down 49ers and run away in the 2nd half. I expect Seatttle by 17, 19 or at least 15 to cover all the teasers.

@Parlay_pal
This is why Vegas will have a BIG day. Everyone think SF will win. And if they loose not by more than 7. So they tease SF +13/+14. Seattle win by at least 15pts.

I believe they have a great shot to win this time around..
Offensive comparison Head to head this season
49ers Seattle
10 PPG 13
278.5 Total YPG 295.5
4.9 Yards/Play 5.1
39.1 3rd down % 39.1
6 20+ yard plays 7
3 Giveaways 2
I think this game may be different as far as scoring.. San Francisco will be able to move the chains compared to week 18..
Good Luck

To piggyback off your excellent points - I can believe the disrespect for Shanahan. Dude is an offensive genius and definitely didn't want to show his hand in the last game knowing damn well they may run into them in the post season. This first year coach is going to have his hands full, even without Kittle.

@seattleseahawks
You just made your own point about recency bias. Everyone remembers how inept the 9ers looked 2 weeks ago. Guaranteed you see a completely different offense this time.....

Special teams may end up being huge in this game and both teams have good special teams. May come down to the place kicker do you trust Jason Myers or Eddy Pineiro with the game on the line ?

You are correct the public remembers recent games and they also remember Seattle dominating San Francisco week 18 which is literally 2 games ago they didn’t have Bosa or Warner and Seattle managed to score the same exact score.. San Francisco didn’t have one of there weapons in Trent Williams on the offensive line which literally buys time for the pass game an helps open up holes in the run game literally night and day stat.. they also didn’t have another weapon in Pearsal which is there speedster he can actually beat that secondary Week 1 he had 4receptions 7 targets for 108 yards..chunk plays.. and he helps open up underneath..
Bosa and Warner have been out for a long time… this is literally the same roster the 49ers have been rolling out for weeks… kittle is the only difference now which is a key player but Tonges is a great player too.. and made some crucial plays 3 for 3 for 15yards and a TD.. This isn’t some sudden collapse situation…In fact the replacements have been solid.. (LB)Kendricks and Wallow have been assignment sound at linebacker and the safety rotation with Siegel has actually been an upgrade over Brown…
Bethune..Winters..and Brown were constantly over-pursuing and missing tackles…it’s ugly.. The backups are playing under control and finishing plays that matters.. not getting beat as much and good tackling..

This team is not surviving because of talent it’s surviving because of coaching…
Kyle Shanahan is a Hall of Fame–level coach period.. I would bet on it right now…People have been saying “too many injuries” all season, but it’s not about the players it’s the system on both sides of the ball… Shanahan paired with Salah is one of the best coaching combinations in football…Their schemes consistently make average players look good…
Look at Shanahan’s quarterback history… He took Jimmy Garoppolo to the Super Bowl… He resurrected Mac Jones’ career… He consistently puts quarterbacks running backs and receivers in position to succeed…
It’s the scheme…
Look at the players who leave the Shanahan system do they suddenly become stars elsewhere? Usually not… That tells you everything…
My only knock on Shanahan is what happens once he reaches the Super Bowl but I still believe he will win one in his career..
As for Salah - great defensive coordinator bad head coach but context matters… He never had a real quarterback with the Jets… In the right situation he will succeed… If he ever lands with a team like Baltimore with a real QB.. that defense will level up immediately.. San Francisco will absolutely miss him…
People keep pointing to records but look closer.. The remaining playoff teams all have very similar combined regular-season and playoff records…That includes the “injury-ravaged” San Francisco 49ers The fact that they’re still here despite the injuries should carry weight..
This locker room is tight. You can see it in the pressers… San Francisco is playing with house money… That makes them dangerous… They’ll be looser than Seattle in a pressure spot and when they win, the narrative will just reset to “They’re too injured” again

Now Brock Purdy
He is still massively underrated because of where he was drafted pick #262, “Mr. Irrelevant” compared to first-round QBs. That stigma sticks.. even though the production says otherwise…
Since returning from the turf toe injury in Week 11:
• Over 70% completion percentage (2nd best in the NFL)
• 3rd in total touchdowns
• 3rd in passer rating
On the most important downs, he’s elite:
• 49ers lead the NFL on 3rd down (55% conversion rate)
• 49ers lead the NFL in red zone TD percentage (71%)
Those are quarterback-driven stats…
The Seattle game in Week 18 was rock bottom and that’s exactly why it won’t repeat itself… There is zero chance this offense scores only 3 points again in a rematch.
Public perception is driving this line..not reality…
Everyone is reacting to the last game…That’s how the public always thinks…
But this isn’t about revenge narratives or injury lists it’s about structure, scheme, and coaching…
And that edge belongs to San Francisco…
Score prediction 49ers 27 Seahawks 20 with a Sam Darnold interception sealing it..

The one thing that does make me a little nervous is the short week.. but my point being they absolutely have a punchers chance .. I can’t see a blowout..
Good Luck to you either way we’ll find out Saturday Night

Public is on Seattle. That line will move to 8.5-9 by game time.
The sheer amount of Saturday teasers is mind blowing.
