The great offensive chess player and one time world champion Mihail Tal, once spent a half an hour trying to figure out how to deal with a threatening knight near his back rank until it dawned on him that the knight was his own. No chess player was more brilliant than Tal IMO not even the great Bobby Fischer. When we walk in the deep forest of thought, even the best of us can become confused. 

It takes some QBs longer to marinate and mature. Of course the modern QBs are not given time to do that, and if they are not functioning well their first year, they are discarded or they languish as the 3rd guy. Darnold has benefited also from some of the best offensive minds in the game so a lot of that has rubbed off.
I think it is more likely that Darnold will have a solid game than not.

Well said Bob I just tease with some of my posts I make to have fun but on a serious note I am taking the points and the Patriots because the respect I have for Sam and the Seahawks is for real, and I believe they win and the possibility of a non- cover is more realistic than a straight up win for New England that again I believe the Patriots make a great game out of it but in the end... Seattle wins in a late possession hard fought squeaker.

I’m basing my over prediction on it being a dry day. Maye has suffered in wet ball conditions. Started in Tampa Bay.utube it you’ll see first hand.  He’s a different QB when ball is wet. Passing completion goes down. Otherwise Maye throws are a thing of beauty. His reading of defenses under Josh is impressive. I see more than 10pts from pats in this game. Good luck

Darnold didn't see ghosts last 2 yrs did he? 28-6 record last 2 seasons. Find a qb that have that record in 2 yrs. You would be seeing ghosts too playing for Jets and Panthers.
