Colts/Seahawks

It's an insult to the game Colts may start Rivers in this game.  Seahawks will simply crowd the box to stop Taylor, regardless who the Colts QB is.

Rivers has grey hair taint....this was fact checked by his couch 

being a QB in the NFL is not necessarily like riding a bike....yes, you can ride the bike, but you will not gain your balance and overall mobility just like that....NFL QB's work off timing and endless repetition...this falls off after 5 years of not performing at an elite level...and let's face it, Rivers was not elite and was certainly not performing at any high level prior to his departure from the NFL...he had a warped throwing motion as well and that didn't work then and will not work now...and let's not forget, Rivers was best known for talking a lot on the field....is it possible that with his age that he will be looking to chit chat with the players about retirement plans and telling them that hey are all on mute...

Get the fuck outta here if he plays....Colts are done unless they can find a better backup QB.....Kaepernick is still out there

 The difference is Rivers looks like he hasn't missed a meal or snack time in 5 years, ...while Brady only eats diet birdseed.

Rivers had 24 TDs, and 11 INTs in one season with the Colts.  He had a passer rating of 97.

 I don't think his mobility matters because it never did.  He moved well in the pocket and this offensive line has proven it could provide one.

Rivers can read a defense, get in the right play call and make you defend the entire field.     Can he still move in a pocket and sling it?  

He is coming back for a reason and I think its because he thinks this team is good enough to make a run.

The NFL isn't baseball...this is high level NFL Quarterbacking....if he is going to throw screen passes and hand the ball off, fine, but asking anything more than that will not end well....there are Quarterbacks current in the league that have a hard time completing passes, finding open receivers and reading defensive schemes....even if the playbook is exactly how it was 5 years ago, he's still in retirement mode and not in gameday shape mode...if anyone is looking for a feel good story, this isn't it...and he has to go on the road and play the seahawks....good luck, looks like section C12 has already filled up with every local AARP employee ready to have Rivers sign his papers...
