just play small , you don’t have too bet every national game heavy just because it’s on national television, that’s the problem a lot of people have , if i don’t have a feel i’ll play it lite just too have a rooting interest , betting it that way is a good way too study then you can see the team’s weaknesses,

My first football bet has to go back to '86 at the Caesars Palace Sportsbook.    Here is my personal perspective: play the units that we can afford to lose, do flat betting as possible, try more games selective and well, hope for the best. I mostly don't play NFL regular season games until postseason hits. A friend of mine who used to bet like one thousand bucks a game almost daily, went broke and divorced. Sad to see that, but it's true.

All of it has almost gotten unbettable college included....between the bad play, questionable coaching which relies heavily on questionable analytics  and the missed FG's it's very hard to watch at times let alone wager good money nowadays 

Well said I used to lose all my money in my 20's.  I'd work  just to pay the book.  It took until mid 30s to just start betting for fun.  Don't chase, drop a zero off the bets.  I never bet to make money, it was to bet again, so why did I need to bet so much?  I just want to be right, win and be entertained.  Now I can do that w $50-100 bets and my money lasts much longer.  Also never on credit always put the $$ up.

I agree, it’s such a frenetic pace with diabolical playcalling, penalties, turnovers.

The NFL must think the IQ of there average audience member is that of a potato because anybody with eyes can see what’s happening in these games lol

Thanks for this wisdom BW.. It is very true.  I used to bet $500-$1k, always had to find a game to unload on.. now I stick to units & have been doing very well, betting much less.

It also helped when I quit drinking, amazing how that happens. Appreciate you sir!
