I know we are pathetic.  I have lived through the lows then the highs and now the lows again.  But you know what?  They will rise again.  It might not happen for another 5 years or so but I will stay a fan.  I bet on them +3 and they let me down but they didn't let me down you know what I am saying.....

 I know what you are saying. A long time Giants, four Super Bowl titles, but they are not that far away from being decent again. Had the WFT at -3 -120 in my picks, but bet them on the money line -190. looks like we both won some money on the game. I feel Jones has a bright future at QB for the Giants, but who knows?

When Jones sets up in the pocket he seems to have time to throw so he has a sandwich but then decides it doesn't taste good. How much more time should he need to make a decision? He can do far more outside the pocket. That's my read.

I've always been a closet giants fan.

Blame rests on Judge and to a lesser extent Garrett for this one.  We see it every week where coaches are risk averse and kick field goals on 4th and short.  4th and 4, 4th and 3 and 4th and 2 and each time went for the field goal instead of going for it.  That is how you lose games.  Especially when the other team is moving the ball with ease.  (Some) coaches are all about self preservation instead of maximizing opportunity to win each game.

After the turnover with just over 2 minutes left, Garrett sees a loaded box and brings in a heavy package and runs into a wall twice.  He actually had a pulse and a creative brain during most of the game but when it gets to crunch time he goes back to his old ways.  Play to get the TD at that point instead of putting yourself into 3rd and long (Giants had longest 3rd down distance to go in the league last year).  Lawrence will get blamed for the offside but gutless coaching lead them there.

I get it with the play calling probably Gettlemen sending the plays down... to the coaches.  At this point in my life I still love sports but know what to expect.  I am betting the Packers to win by at least 20.  Relaxxxxxxx.

Last night hurt.  Tough loss when an off sides meaningless penalty caused a 5 yd penalty when the Wash kicker missed the FG.. then hit the next kick with no time on the clock  . The def linemen had no reason to jump despite what he heard . Its a FG attempt. His rush won't have blocked the kick. Nobody gets blocked FG attempts up the middle. Both teams were penalized a lot but nothing hurt more was the timing of that off sides .. Giants are now 0-2 and the last 4 yrs they have started 0-2.   Lordie lordie another year ..

Most of these colleges wouldn't allow these guys on campus if they couldn't play football.

In this case Dexter Lawrence played for Clemson.  A lot of dum idiots on Clemson.  It's a private college and you need to be a very good student and do well on the SAT or ACT.  But if you're a great football player we can get u in no matter how dum you are.

For nothing else, the game (in all it's terrifying glory) should have been won by the GMen but instead of 7 pts on one particular play, the Giants settled for 3.  That moment happened when the ball trickled through Slayton's hands late in the fourth on what should have been an easy score to go up 30-20...

What bothers me is that Buck and Aikman (along with what I'm reading this morning) keep on that 'the ball was dropped', 'Slay couldn't reel it in', etc.

I'm sorry but this is 100% on Jones.  Elite QB's; the ones that win, the ones that get paid mad money make that throw almost with their eyes closed.  Jones not making that throw puts him in Group B of QB's: good but not great.

The game was over if that pass connected and the narrative today completely changes.  Now, a poor special teams guy is in the news for the wrong reasons and a journeyman midget QB for the WFT is doing the talk show circuit.

Jones lost them the game on that play.  It was late, it mattered.  That throw has to be dropped right square into the bread basket.  It's a detail that will have this years Giants go 6-11.  They're better than that but details will lose them games they should win.
