The irony? It was almost the same play Brett Favre did against the Saints when he was on the Vikings.
How can you guess defend this? Dude just did a no look pass to 3 49ers and I couldn’t even see the GB WR on tv - so I don’t know he could have. Gimme a break.

So are you telling me you've never seen the QB of a team that is losing throw a pick at the end of a game when he's trying to force the ball downfield in desperation mode?
It happens all the fkin time. The defense is sitting back and waiting for it. They don't have to do anything else. With the clock stopping on out of bounds plays, the whole field being 4 down territory, and the danger of PI and big plays, the INT is how you seal the win that's why prevent defense exists, when done right you make the guy throw into double or triple coverage

If anything - he could have thrown it to a single covered receiver on the right side of the field INSTEAD he does a no look cross body throw to a guy with 2 49ers in front of the WR and 1 behind.
Even on the replay - his eyes weren’t looking.
Neil O Donnell throwing to Larry Brown again haha.

Still. Very odd play. I could not believe it when it happened. He had played an extremely clean game (except for the tipped pass) and second half of the season. It was completely uncharacteristic.

I agree, GB let them off the hook; Missed FG, GB blocked a PAT, Savage dropped a Pick 6 right in his chest, (two other easy INTs dropped, (Savage completed the Pick 6 last week) the missed 4th down instead of trying the FG, (it looked like a bad spot from most camera angles), The Pack was physical and not intimidated, Purdy had some real Ducks that he got away with. Entertaining game though, this convinces me the Niners are NOT winning the SB this year.........To me it looks like Buffalo could end their SB drought and Break through or the Lions.
