The Cowboys and Eagles will kick off the 2025 season. I'll have some catching up to do as far as preparing for week 1. Last news I remember from either club was the Cowboys acquiring a trade for George Pickens and McCarthy getting canned awhile back. Haven't really followed the Eagles offseason but I think their roster is still intact. Football will be here before you know it might as well try get a head start

@lmb4321 I agree but leaning Bills... Josh Allen finally wins MVP and I think Rodgers takes the Steelers to the playoffs
Josh had an outstanding year but if the selection committee had used same standards as in past years Lamar should have won, agree that if he stays healthy Steelers make playoffs.

I have zero faith in AR taking the Steelers to the playoffs. He has run the slowest offense in the last 20 years. He hasn’t been good in three years. Honestly, I think they might do better with Rudolph all season at starter, and Rudolph ain’t great (he’s C+ to C)

That was bullshit, but then again I don't think Lamar should have won mvp the year before and I didn't have a bet on that damnit then I get robbed for betting it a year later lol

I don't think Steelers offense will improve by leaps and bounds either. Will do just enough to put up some points and get carried by their defense like previous seasons.
They're gonna have to work out their chemistry with this revamped offense: Rodgers, Woods, Metcalf. Looks good on paper but you know they'll be over hyped for sure. Jaylen Warren the starting RB now. Decent RB but not sure he's fit to be an every down back. More like a change of pace RB.

@Digitalkarma OC Aurthur will keep him clean, trust
I don't know about that. Steelers allowed 49 sacks last season but O-line has shown improvement in his previous teams. Maybe they will get more out of this same group in their 2nd year together. However, Rodgers isn't as mobile like Russ or Justin Fields, and they either struggled to protect or Russ held the ball too long. One thing may be for certain is Rodgers will have to get that ball quickly out of his hands.

@Digitalkarma For some reason...I think it's Bills or Ravens that win it all....just a hunch....
Adam Chernoff has been recommending Bills/Rams exacta. Not a fan of the Rams, but they are competitive - of the two teams the Bills make the most sense.

Agreed......I bought the hook. I have a large bet -7 Denver. They should pound this team week 1. Team with high expectations and on the rise at home vs. a rookie QB and lower-level talent throughout roster with some exceptions. 31-13.

Nice catch there, the Broncos should be formidable versus that anemic Titans' squad on opening day. Bo Nix looks like the real deal.
That Steeler Oline is 4/5ths first and second year guys who are vastly inconsistent in run and pass blocking. Rodgers will be getting the ball out quickly alright but throwing it out of bounds. A lot of new big names on the Steeler D but will they gel (Slay, Ramsey, Thornhill)? Will the front 7 be able to stop the run??? They haven't so far.
Minkah Fitzpatrick kept the lid on that leaky Steeler D for years... he made so many game saving tackles and yet gets dissed for not getting picks too? WTF??? He had to play 30 yards off the line of scrimmage because the Steeler corners were getting burned like toast.
I look for the Steeler's D to be buggered by mucho splash plays this year. If the Steelers don't beat the Jets in the opener, the pitchforks will be out. All of these signings of older farts looks like a desperation move to me but time will tell all. Is it real, or is it Memorex???
There's no such thing as "hate speech" only those that hate free speech.

Rams are on the up and up so I could see them contend for another SB appearance in the thin NFC. Bills stocked up on defensive front in the draft but still not sold on their secondary. I'd thought they'd keep a proven #1 receiver like Amari Cooper he was kinda just thrown into the mix last season and didn't get the full benefit of being in their system that a full off-season couldnt fix but he's not on the roster. Khalil Shakir was splashy last year but I find the receiving core overall to be a bit lacking.
Von Miller is also getting up their in age so I'm not surprised they didn't keep him and got Joey Bosa to replace him, whose good when he's healthy. They got the good mixed with some bad. The AFC East isn't really all that great anyway so as usual Bills have a good chance of getting home field advantage

Perhaps they can finally get a cover on their home opener they have only covered one game in the last 8 seasons as a home favorite I believe. Probably their best chance to do so, if they can get their minds right.

@Digitalkarma Broncos are 4-3-2 ATS as a home favorite in week 1 since 2004, but I do like the Broncos ML vs a rookie Qb in week 1 on the road.
Yep the Broncos used to have a decent home field advantage , not that they still dont. But they're 1-3-2 since 2017 with Vance Joseph, and all those other bonehead coaches. With Sean Payton in season 2, this could change
