Especially in the Finals???
To begin, all this talk about how he got here with nobody....
Love and Irving, played the Celts series...
Irving played until game 2 in the finals...lets not act like Lebron was by himself the entire playoffs...
The Cavs beat a terrible Celtics team, had a tough series with the Bulls, and then beat an a very overrated Hawks team...
All 8 teams from the West, would have made the finals had they been in the Cavs position...
But, moving on to the finals and these "amazing" numbers and games by Lebron...
First of all, the ball was in his hand 100% of the possessions on offense...he was also getting double teamed...so to get 10 assists a game is not asking very much...
90% of the time, Lebron was taller than any player GS had on the court, and besides Mozgov being on the floor, he was the biggest player on the court from both teams...add that to GS shooting 90% jumpers, getting 10+ rebounds is also very easy....
As to his scoring...lets take a look at his shots during the finals...
13-33 39%, 15-34 44%, 7-22 31%, 14-34 41%, 11-35 31%, 18-38 47%....
Look at all those shots?? He better score 30+ a game....and if you take away dunks and layups, he shot a WHOOPING 21% for the series
All people see are numbers, they don't actually consider how the games are being played...
Having the ball in your hands 100% of the time....you better get 10 assists a game...being the tallest on the court, you better get 10+ rebounds a game...shooting the ball 30+ a game and 10 free throws a game, you better score 30 a game....
GS played 1 solid game all series, game 4...Klay was gone the entire series, Barnes and Green didn't play well until late in the series, Steph didn't even play a solid series..
Not impressed at all
