    YESTERDAY:  1-1

    YTD:  14-11

First of all, I am completely NOT trusting myself.  I was singing for weeks how the OKC/HOU matchup favored UNDERS and then abandoned that after losing the play when Game 3 went to OT.  So yesterday, I was CONVINCED the Rockets would win, which they did, but the sloppy end of game ended up costing a cover.  In the end, good work by those who backed OKC.

Today, I am CONVINCED Toronto wins pretty handily.  They will turn up the defense and I think they figured some things out from Game 2, even though they lost.  I don't really need to write up much more about it because all indicators point to them winning and I already placed a sizable wager last night on them.  The line has since gone up to -2 but I don't think that matters.  Psychology also plays a part in sports, as most people know, and I think the NEED and DESIRE for the Raptors to win far outweighs that for Boston.  No home court advantage here so I believe that Lowry will control things, stay away from foul trouble, and Van Fleet could also have a pretty big game.  I just think the Raptors need to drive more to the basket vs. fall in love with the outside shooting, let Tatum get his points, and dare Kemba, who is hobbled, to beat them.

PLAY 1:  TORONTO (-2) BIG PLAY

Second play is one I also took last night but it's in MLB.  If you don't bet MLB, don't tail.  Not that I have been bad at it, in fact, quite the contrary, but it's not for the feint of heart.  With no fans, delays, and HORRIBLE bullpens, these games you think will win have flipped the script faster than in years past.  But today, the Chicago White Sox, a team that has in many ways outperformed what some thought they could, has a really great matchup vs. the KC Royals.  In fact, the White Sox, who face Danny Duffy, a Left Handed Pitcher, are a mind-blowing 11-0 vs. southpaws!  Now, that stat could very well change after tonight, it's hard to think a team wins EVERY game against left handed pitching, but I don't think that will happen.  Mainly b/c Dylan Cease, whose last outing was not great, is on the mound and I believe he bounces back.  The White Sox have also surprisingly had a VERY good bullpen and win most their games handily, winning 19 OF 22 GAMES BY MORE THAN ONE RUN.  That's enough for me to make this a play:

PLAY 2:  CHICAGO WHITE SOX (-140) BIG PLAY

                   CHICAGO WHITE SOX -1.5 (+110)

As most of you know, my favorite team is the LA Clippers.  While that might sound strange, as I've literally had little to cheer about until recent, I have had a very strong angle on them and intend to potentially play their game tonight.  I'm leaning to the OVER as I think the Nuggets legs will tire towards the end of the game and leave the Clippers with some easy opportunities.  But I will have a true play on that game later on.  Good luck to all...

I just don't understand how everyone is throwing $ at the Raps. My take is that Boston has the best transition defense in the league. The raps rely on the break. C's have pretty much put the clamps on the raps in this category. Now on to the C's defensive strategy. The C's are not double teaming Siakim when he gets the ball like most teams will and when they do the leave Serg open and dare him to shoot the outside shot and make him beat them. Back to when they don't double the Raps get tons of easy points off double teams with cutting players that are left in a zone due to the double team. I just think the better team is the Celtics as a whole on both sides of the ball and will probably sweep the defending champs. Good luck anyway as I'm a no play on this game.

i can see your point just happen to disagree. I might very well lose but I can see this game moving at a faster pace and finishing 110-105 or something along those lines

Im gonna also play the RAPTORS TT OVER 109.5 T

i can see your point just happen to disagree. I might very well lose but I can see this game moving at a faster pace and finishing 110-105 or something along those lines

Im gonna also play the RAPTORS TT OVER 109.5 T

Dicey game.  Definitely didn't see this BOS/TOR game as clearly as I would have liked.  With that said, I do have a pretty strong intuition on the LAC/DEN game.  The MLB game is looking good but seen many crazy things this year in MLB so not going to count that either.

The Clippers are well rested and the Nuggets have been one of the surprises of the first round.  I think that the way the first round started for the Clippers will make it hard for them to overlook a very talented Nuggets team that has looked even better defensively with Harris returning.  I like the Clippers to win this game and pull away late, but I also think this will be a lower scoring game as Doc will have them ready to turn up the defense and take Game 1.  I do think the Clips got a bit lucky with Porzingis having been injured and ruled out for the final couple games.  With Beverly back in the starting lineup, his defensive intensity will really help the Clippers keep Murray at bay.  This is a GREAT matchup for LA and one I think they win.  It all starts with Game 1.

    PLAY 4:  LA CLIPPERS (-9)

I imagine a lot of people will side with Denver and the points so, as always, good luck to everyone.

well....that was fun.  full disclosure as I said earlier i bet the game last night at EVEN (-115) but posted at -2 which was todays line when I drafted this thread.  so whatever is fair is fair though i should just say "no bet".  either way, crazy game, lucky beyond belief.  sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.  congratulations to those who took Toronto ML...just an insane game as they have all been of late.

now time for the Clippers blowout....

Thats more like it.  And since I caught it last night I ended up winning so count that Raptors game however you want.  Either way we slice it was a super solid day.

    TODAY:  3-1 or 3-0-1

    YTD:  17-12

Love the Clip joint and handicapping them has been quite fun. Solid day.

PLAY 1:  TORONTO (-2) BIG PLAY Second play is one I also took last night but it's in MLB. That's enough for me to make this a play: PLAY 2:  CHICAGO WHITE SOX (-140) BIG PLAY                CHICAGO WHITE SOX -1.5 (+110) As most of you know, my favorite team is the LA Clippers.
