Here’s my random thought pls chime in. I think most bettors will look at Nuggets and think man if they would have hit 1 more of those 13 3pters in 4th qtr they could have won that last game in OKC. Also they’ll shoot much better at home or Joker won’t go out like that. But in my strange mind it is a bad look for the League not only if Denver pushes #1 team to a G7 or even win this series but also if Joker shows up MVP SGA. The message would be we have all #1 and #2 teams knocked out of the playoffs so why take the regular season seriously. That’d be a nightmare for the League having all teams coast in reg season and having #2 MVP vote getter take out the #1. We’re really going to have a Final 4 with no 1 or 2 seeds? Cmon.
I don’t think the League can take a chance with this game and send it back to OKC. Anything can happen injuries or upsets. That total diving tells me OKC dominates and Nuggs have trouble scoring. They need to end this one tonight and get the coveted Thunder/Wolves matchup which will be tremendous. I haven’t been right on this series sides since the Clips so hopefully I break the streak and get some mo for manana.

they set the hook for Celtics bettors it’s beautiful. Celtics got to save face at home and make those billion dollar new owners satisfied and at the same time in a 25pt win made ppl question that they are better and can now challenge Knicks at the Garden no less. The League imo does not want a Celtics/Pacers matchup, not without Tatum that’s got no taste. Knicks haven’t won a playoff series at home since 1999 and who did they meet in Conf Finals? Pacers. This is too good to pass up and have at least 2 more games in the Garden. This won’t go back to Boston, too big a risk for an upset or injury. Thanks for the 25pt win Cs to give us this great opportunity.

SW, in your scenario if thats what the league would like to happen and i agree thats what they probably want. My question is how do they make that happen? What if denver cant miss shots and OKC cant hit a basket to save their lives, even if refs give OKC extra free throws. Only real way to make sure they get that outcome would be to tell denver players to miss their shots. And if that happened how long before the players spill that out of their mouths.
I will be on OKC as well but for a different reason. I dont think they want to risk a game 7 and so they will give a max effort tonight. Just my opinion. Hopefully we get the win.

Don't kill the messenger. But if you're worried about what "the league" wants, you'll never be successful at this. NBA refereeing is better than it has ever been which is shown by the death of home court advantage. There are still lots of bad calls but not because of bias.
Personally, I lean to Denver and the points but it is not a play for me (I'm 7-0 in the playoffs on picks posted on this site). OKC has played better than anybody else in the league all year and has a staggering coaching mismatch in this game, so I just can't lay big money on Denver. However, Jokic is an incredible force, the Nuggets are playing good defense and the Nuggets have higher motivation (elimination game for them and YES, that is a serious betting factor).
But stop worrying about what the commissioner with the big ears wants. If any of that mattered, the Lakers and Golden State wouldn't already be finished.
One other thing: Denver is on a 7-1 ATS (with a push) while OKC 1-6 ATS run because the linemakers just can't adjust from the regular season to the playoffs and are overweighting the Thunder

When a team is at home facing elimination in Game 6, and hoping to force a Game 7 that they'll have to play on the road, they're not the ones with the higher motivation. It's actually their opponent who has it. The visiting team's desire to avoid going home for Game 7 is greater than the Game 6 home team's desire to stay alive. This is especially true in the case of this series in which the Thunder have already lost a home game to the Nuggets and got a major scare two days ago in Game 5.

Exactly lakers and golden st wouldnt be on summer vacation. far as books controlling games, they dont need to. On top of that people dont realize how many legal and illegal sportsbooks there are all around the world, all needing different outcomes. So which book would be doing the control. Lastly if books were rigging games, they wouldnt spend massive amounts of money trying to create good lines. They could have the janitor make the lines, since they are controlling the outcomes. Also watch interviews of real pro bettors and how they use info and computers to try and make better lines then the sports books to get an edge. Why would they waste their time and money doing this, if in reality all that work wont matter cause games are predetermined
what would have been better for nba is not having cavs lose, cause their market is much bigger. 4 billion market team to a 2 billion.
