Orlando: The worst team ever to play in the NBA Finals?

Cavs were the wost team in the playoffs from a financial standpoint.

What? This is what I don't understand...
 
Instead of giving the Lakers the credit they deserve we get...
 
(after they destroyed the Nuggets)  The Nuggets suck! The Nuggets are a horrible team! etc., etc., etc...
 
(after they demolished the Magic) Are the Magic the worst NBA Finals team in NBA history?
 
What happened to how everybody was pumping up the Nuggets to be the best in the West BEFORE the Lakers killed them? What happened to how everybody was pumping the Magic after they killed LeBrick and Co. and they were supposedly this fantastic team?
 
So now it's that the other teams suck...has nothing to do with the Lakers greatness?

greatness? give me a fucking break!! LA gets their cred, got their ring but to call that team great?? not thinking so...............demolished? they should of lost 2 of the games if the players and coach didn't choke.....and if the nuggets could inbound that series would of gone 7 and might of been different...the rockets w/o yao, t-mac took them to 7.....so yeah its good they won but dont get fucking crazy...

What I want to know is what alias you use when your team loses. Having a Homer Name must suck when your team loses and you have to take shit. And I know this happens throughout the season.

This team won one more finals game than the GREAT SHAQ led team of 95 who got swept by Rockets

Of the teams I have seen I'd have to say the Cavs two years ago. It was Lebron and nobody else. Getting swept in the championship.

worst i can remember in recent memory was the Cavs back in 05 or whatever... that sweep was so easy to call... they had no business being in the finals...
 
Orlando isn't that bad... Lakers were just way too hungry and Orlando hasn't been there before... they were in over their heads...

Calm down stupid homer. They are not great. Bynum, gasol, etc    2 games orlando handed to them, la didnt earn them. Lakers outplayed them in 2 whole games. 1 and 5. Thats it. Fuck off

  The lakers did not outplay them in games 2 and 4. Im just arguing with the guys that said the games were easy. Yes they won in 5 but orlando was right there with them. This was not a lopsided series. See i can write without  ALL CAPS

man if it wasn't for the blistering 63% shooting in game 3 this was a sweep... and game 4 was unquestionably a fix attempt FOR Orlando, and they still lost...
 
you shouldn't be talking shit right now... Orlando lost because they were the inferior team...

Ice4Blood, also in that lone magic win the lakers barely missed a shot in the 4th and orlando didnt shoot really any 3s so that evened that out. Im not talking shit. Im talking back to the people that say this was easy. Orlando challenged them

Also ice, I can talk shit because the magic made it alot farther than anyone thought. They had nothing to lose in these finals. Great job my the magic and they will be better next year

They sure had their chances.........just didn't convert.
 
Hell, they had to shoot an astronomical % just to take the game they won.
 
That layup miss off turk's feed should have eliminated the first OT they played and replaced it with a stunning victory in LA.  Had he made that shot......might be a different series....but the dude missed the shot........a shot I couldn't make with someone holding a gun on me.....but then, I'm not a pro.

Don't think this Orl team was close to being the worst ever in the Finals. They just didn't have near enough D to compliment their offense. The Magic team that Hou swept in '95 was worse. Outside of a young Shaq & Hardaway, they didn't have much at all.
 
Thought before the playoffs (after KG was out) that Hou was the only team with enough O & D given the way they matched up to beat LAL & it turned out that way. With a healthy Yao & if the refs don't bend over backwards for LA, like the Rockets to have won that series. Oh well, just a mighta been -

for anyone who thinks Orlando was right there, you dont know much about basketball, or you're just a Laker hater.
 
Orlando was terrible, plain and simple. The inexperience showed. They played a great game 2 while the Lakers sucked, but the better team came out on top. Orlando shoots lights out in Game 3, and the Lakers played average with Kobe missing ft's, and Orlando wins. Game 4 was a hard fought battle, one I thought, AGAIN, the Lakers didnt play all that well, but they still came out on top in OT, on the road. And Game 5, well, the best team came out on top again.
 
YOu see, the Lakers didnt have to play their best ball to have a chance to win. Orlando's only shot was to play their best ball, and that wasnt enough.
 
All this shoulda, coulda, woulda, what if's should stop. Stop hating on the Lakers. There's no way anyone can argue that Orlando is in the same class as the Lakers.
