Wolves vs Suns
The Suns have averaged damn near 120 points per game last ten allowing 106 in that span. The Wolves 114 ppg and 123 allowed last ten. Since the break the Wolves have averaged 122 ppg. With the exception of the Lakers those teams that Minnesota faced were all in the bottom 5 defensively in the league. The Lakers did not have Davis or Gasol and had the undersized Damian Jones defending Towns. But tonight Towns will be face to face with Ayton and points won’t come easy. The only other guy producing enough points for the Wolves is Anthony Edwards. Edwards could be a non factor tomorrow. The reason I say this is because Edwards will see plenty of Mikal Bridges who stands at 6’6 209 lbs. Bridges should have no problem keeping Edwards in check most of the night. I don’t see any reason to back Minnesota here. Their high scoring games can be misleading and they could find themselves in a whole a little earlier in this game than their last verse the Lakers. The Suns are 2-0 as double digit favorites this season. When favored at home Phoenix has allowed an average of 105 ppg. But while the UNDER is 4-6 in the last ten meetings, the total has gone OVER in 4 of the last 5 Minnesota games and 11 of the last 16 Phoenix games. I may skip out on the total but Phoenix should absolutely crush the Wolves. Let’s see what else comes up later in the day. Right now Im leaning towards Suns plus the Over.
