It's not the Heat, they are going to blow up over the next few weeks. Their run is over
Indiana? seems logical... but nope. The best team will be the Bulls.
They went to the 2nd round this year. With a healthy D Rose and another acquisition (K Love or Melo or maybe Lebron) the Bulls will be the beast in the east

But he prob wont go anywhere, they will get rid of bosh and/or wade
build again around the King
Did you not see his press conference last night? He was posed the question, and he basically declined to comment. The words he said and his body language tell me he is absolutely going to a contender team.
Does adding Phil Jackson as GM of the Knicks make them a contender? I really doubt it. At least not for several years. Indy? Sure but they would have to take a machette to their roster.
I think the Bulls are his best play. There are other choices in the west... we will see
But I can tell you the wager for Lebron having a different uniform next year is -600

I'm kinda confused as to why everyone thinks he'd leave. The heat have basically dominated the league the past 3 years with the exception of this series. If LeBron stays there is still no threat in the east. Indy was exposed against Miami. The bulls maybe if rose can ever play a game. Miami wld have beat any team out of the west other than the spurs and imo Memphis because theyre size. They have beat the thunder and clippers on a consistant basis the last 3 years. They're still a talented team. I say stay together get ur free pass to the finals because the east is awful and hope u face okc la or portland just not the spurs. Wade had one bad series he was a consistant 19 ppg scorer in the regular season and playoffs until this series. People are way overreacting. 4 straight finals appearances and 2 of those 4 resulted in rings. No point in fixing something that isn't broke. And no team in the east is gettin any closer to competing with Miami unless Chicago gets Melo and that's assuming rose is what he used to be

I agree, why does everybody think he's going to leave? Because they lost to the Spurs? Espn must be launching these childlike thoughts again (as if people behave like they think). Heat showed some genuine good feelings by congratulating spurs with hugs after game. Lebron and team are way above immature, rumor trash, reporter gossip. Heat will re-load.

You sound like a dillusional fan. You say they have dominated the league in recent years. I say not even close. They lost to the Mavs in their first attempt. They were legit in the 2nd year I agree. They got horribly lucky to snatch victory from Spurs last year... and they were obviously inferior this year. Worse drubbing in a finals series in history, short of clean sweep.
They are simply not as good as you think they are. Wade is OLD and his health and hops will be a big question going forward. Bosh seems to want to take 3's rather than crash the boards. Their bench is old and not top quality.
Their run is over. You need to get over that. And when Lebron rumors of leaving start to float around in the next few weeks, you will see them completely dismantle the team.

Chicago is legit, and with Rose back and IF he stays healthy along with a big new signed player, they rise to the top IMO
Raptors are on the rise, plenty of talent there. Keep a watch.
Pacers are the most healthy and built for a run at this moment. But they are a bunch of knuckleheads and will find new ways to trip up. I would fade them.
Wizards are very talented and on the rise. Also watch them
Bulls are most built for a big run next year. IF and only IF they stop pissing off Thibedea so he stays, and if Rose can stay healthy. Two big IFs there, but I am hopeful

Knicks are horrible, and will suffer for a few years as Jackson reshapes the team. In the long run I know that most think he will bring them to prominece, but my gut says he will not. He is older now, and will be less involved than any time before in his career. I just don't think the Knicks will reinvent themselves for the better like most think.

SportFan i think you dont have many ideas clear in your head. You know, when a player has been out for 2 consecutive years,it s quite difficult for him to be like he was...get it?even only at a mental level. And what about melo going to the bulls?Where did you hear that?Melo is going to miami probably. And yes, miami when switched on demolished evey team in the past 3 years.they are not finished...just need to make the right moves in the next free agency. Wiz and raptors are good but not contenders,at last next year. You have no clue of what you are talking about...how about you stay in the mlb forum?

Sportsfan I'm not a delusional fan... But for the record plz explain how they were lucky to win last year? Becaue the best 3 point shooter hit a clutch 3. What about tony parkers falling down bank shot to win game 1 or was that not luck? Shld Kobe not have won rings because he had clutch shot after clutch shot. I mean fisher hit a shot with .4 seconds left!! You always have to have a little luck but I'm sick of hearing they Shldnt have won last year. Yes the spurs gave it away I agree but they had another game to win and Miami showed and made the plays.
I agree they are on a downward slope especially with wades health but the sad thing is this team that got dominated by the spurs and cld have easily been swept... Lost 3 games in the eastern conference playoffs. No one in the east can beat them with their current roster. Again if Melo goes to Chicago maybe but we ll have to see if that happens. And okc has not proven they can beat Miami .
If the spurs keep coming out of the west the heat have no shot even with Melo but there's no reason to panic. Again I say they won 2 titles and went to 4 since they got together. Name the last team to do this.... Stop overreacting this spurs team is deep smart and skilled

They were lucky when POP had not one, but two BRAINFARTS in last 21 seconds of Game 6 in Miami last year (subbing Tim Duncan not once, but twice when they had that 5 point lead
This is definitely going to be an entertaining free agent offseason

I don't think heat should blow it up. IMO the only team they lose to this year is spurs. if okc made finals we would b talking about 3 peat. Wade should get to Germany for kobe treatment

You guys are not keeping up... Melo already pointed towards Houston or Chicago. He is not dumb... he knows if he were to go to Miami it would like coming to the party late. Bron prolly told him he is not staying
Yes Heat got EXTREMELY lucky to win in 2013... Spurs pissed it away
Yes I know Rose will likely not be the jumping out of the gym young player he once was. I was shouting for the Bulls to trade him when he started playing early in 2013. All I can do now is hope he stays healthy because Bulls front office has some kind of unhealthy man love for him...

When the spurs choke it's heat got lucky if LeBron chokes he's killed by the media. The fact is Miami made the plays down the stretch. If Leonard makes a free throw Allen's three doesn't even matter. They weren't the best team that year but they made the plays to b crowned champs. In 2011 Miami was a far superior team than Dallas but Dallas made the plays and LeBron played awful. It's not always bout who the best is it's about who executes when given the opportunity.

Btw you do know they have the best odds to win it all nxt year at 5/2 the next east team is Indy at 14/1.
Yes I'm aware that the Heat is the chalk for next year. I simply do not agree. Much if it is based on a different Heat team next season. One thing I think we can all agree on is that if the Heat does not get some new help in the offseason, they will continue to decline.
I remain certain that Lebron is leaving. We can take this discussion up in a couple weeks when the rumors and/or any deals get known.

If the Bulls get Love and Rose is healthy and Miami gets Melo; no doubt in my mind the Bulls win the East. Miami does not need another scorer. A big man that crashes the boards or even a point guard that has half a clue could be enough, but Melo no way. A cancer to every team hes on. Dont feed me his stats; i could care less. Just watch him play, his attitude, his demeaner, his me me me ignorance on the court will do more harm than good for Miami. They just have to find a few pieces to the puzzle, not start a new one. Love to the Heat or Bulls would be a perfect fit for either.

I agree I dnt get all this love for Melo. He is like harden, just a volume shooter that plays no D. If I'm Miami I want love or a good young point guard like Lowry, Conley, or someone else that wldnt take up a lot of cap space. As for the bulls their offense has been garbage I feel like Melo wld help them much more than Miami. Plus with LeBron wade bosh and melo they all wld b competing for shots.
It doesn't rly matter imo if the big 3 all comeback then they'll win the east. I just don't see anyone who can even compete unless Indy gets a big name or Chicago and even then they'd need rose to play at a high level. Besides those 2 teams who else cld play with them. The nets are basically just as old as the heat, the wiz r still too young, the raptors looked better than they were cuz they played in the east, and the Knicks wld need another piece plus melo. I think you are putting way too much weight on the finals. They looked great throughout the whole playoffs before that series. And honestly I can't think a team I've ever seen play that cld have beat this spurs team, including Kobe and Shaq and the pistons. Not gna comment on Jordan I watched him at too young of an age to have a comment on that.
