Wednesday's action

1. Dodgers are the best offensive and defensive team in the league averaging 5.4 runs per game and 3.5 runs allowed per game.

2. The A's are the second-worst when it comes to giving up runs allowed per game. 

3. The A's are without two of their stronger offensive players in Brent Rooker and Tyler  Soderstrom.

4. Dodgers are rolling right now and should be able  to get this done against a depleted A's  lineup. 

5. The Dodgers have scored 9-3 and 9-4, against the A's.  They have scored a total of 18 to 7 runs, more than twice the runs the A's have produced.
