Not even remotely afraid of the Tigers line. Porcello on the bump, who in his career is 8-1 with a 2.82 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in home starts following a home outing where he gave up 5 earned runs or more. Hector Noesi navigated through a bad Oakland lineup, but got touched up by both Texas and the ChiSox allowing three homers in both games. He should be in for a rocky road this afternoon vs. the Tigers. HR Alert in play on Prince!

We all know it's coming. And we all know it's coming soon. Pujols will hit his first and from there he will be at 10 homers before we know it. And I think today is the day that Pujols goes yard. Not the reason I'm playing the Angels, but I have a hunch he hits one today. Matt Moore has never pitched in April in the majors. Actually, he's never pitched before September in the majors. He was real good down the stretch last year, but different situational pitching. More adrenaline, nicer weather, playoff fever all around. Now it's April and you have about 20+ starts between today and "playoff fever". He has really struggled with his control thus far this year, and the Angels are aching for a bust out game. I think he continues to make mistakes with his location and the Halos jump all over it. Not overly thrilled with Jerome Williams on the hill, but he was pretty good last time out vs. Baltimore and he closed last season with some solid outings. I don't think he'll need to be stellar as the offense will carry this game.

Johnny - Dangerous afternoon card as all the home teams are laying pretty sizeable numbers. Public will look at Detroit and cringe at the ML, then turn their attention to Cleveland and Tampa Bay, both of whom are laying more than they should.
Mike - thanks pal
GiL - love seeing you on these early afternooners. Somewhat of a correalated play on the Angels and the over. GL today buddy, I'm looking over the Reds. Love to hear your thoughts, but I'll check your thread.

thats 2 years in a row the weak hitting mariners have feasted on detroit pitchers on the road. makes you wonder if they're stealing signs or something fishy
