Figured I could get in on the discussion, and potential name-calling backlash that accompanies a losing set of picks!
1. Oakland +169 @ Baltimore: Two cold pitchers facing off against eachother - but Oakland is on a nice little run right now, while Baltimore can't find its ass from a hole in the ground. That line is too good to pass up.
2. Angels +109 vs. TB: Same deal here - two craptastic starters, but TB struggles mightily on the road. Got to go with the Angels as a dog here.
3. Seattle +119 vs. CHW: Seattle's playing hot right now, Danks is starting to struggle just a bit, as are the White Sox as a whole.
4. Colorado -174 vs. Pitt: Gotta ride the Rockie bandwagon until further notice - especially against the Pirates who can't win any games right now. Sure, Colorado is throwing out Chacin, but he's been decent in spot relief, and should thwart Pitt's bats for at least 5 innings until the solid bullpen can take over. I know that Ohlendorf has a decent ERA in his last few opportunities, but the Rockies have just been scorching of late - unless they play in New York or Philly. Don't really like the line, but I just think it's a no lose - and of course having said that....
5. St. Louis -146 vs. Cincy: Both st. pitchers have been decent of late - but everything here points to St. Louis winning. 8-2 last 10 SU, 5-0 w/ Boggs starting...
Since I don't have the money skills or balls that MrBator has, I'll go with 1 U each. GL.
