They were losing 7-0!!!!!!   In the 8th inning.....

All these threads and posts about Johnson, the catcher and ump having a convo.....

If this was a set-up why would it be extra innings??? 

If it was set-up, why would they have the guy go 0-2 and foubl off 2 pitches???  

If it was set-up,, why would the pitch have been a change-up down and inside which could easily be pulled foul????

Well, they have achieved what they intended to do, to make fans think exactly the way you ate thinking.

You guys do realize boston has to lose before the yanks can tank on purpose to eliminate them right. Simply giving up the lead with not so great pitchers in against a team that needs to win isn't that hard of a thing to do. I mean wade is not very good. You can talk all the set up bs you want, but nothing the yanks can do right now can eliminate boston from the playoffs until boston loses which does not look very likely. The yankees have no control of the outcome in the playoff game and the franchise even specualting that the rays have a solid chance to knock off the red sox so we don't have to face them is idiotic at best. no set up whatso ever just a mediocre pitcher making a semi questionable pitch would could have been easily fouled off and a solid hitter in johnson making him pay.

And it was setup so they could lose in extra innings???

When peoples bets go from winning to losing, it has to be a fix and setup....just amazing....

I personally don't believe in fixes/set-ups/etc. Still...you can't deny how fishy certain things in certain games smell.

Exactly. Things look fishy in almost every game. Hell...college football on Saturdays are ton of those type of things.

But, just to add to my point, if they tried to set this game up...why was Dickerson stealing and why were they playing hit and run?

andino just hit a short blooper off papelbon and the orioles won. haha two closers blew it today in a fight for their playoff lives. Now boston has to hope the yankees lay down. lol
