AL Wildcard Yankees vs A’s

We already know that’s the match-up what do you guys think? Who takes on Boston in the ALDS?

I'm a Yankees fan. It seems like we end up playing in this game every season. And these wild card games in general, are always amazing. The most entertaining games of the entire season IMO.

It's gonna come down to how both teams manage their pitchers. Both offenses can rake, but the Yankees have a dominant ace, and I can't say the same for the A's. Even if Severino doesn't start, I like Tanaka more than anyone on the A's staff. He's been extremely clutch throughout his MLB and Japanese career. I don't even know who would start for the A's. If I were in charge of their team, I would make sure the bullpen is very well rested, start your hottest pitcher, keep him on a very short leash, and then navigate with the bullpen from there. That has pretty much been the theme of the season. Bullpen-ing.

It's also important which stadium they play the game at. Home team crowd could pump up their team big time in a game like this.

These 2 teams are a lot alike, so it should be a very good game. I'm biased, but I'm taking the Yankees to win and get revenge on Boston.
