Tigers ML -167 

This might be the second best play of the day after the Doyer RL. A.J Griffin loves to give up the long ball and Cabrera/Fielder both have a home run off of him in only 2-3 plate appearances. Anibal Sanchez has been pitching well and has only given up more than 2 runs once in his last 10 starts.

im with you in detroit and doyers plus the hot CWS and colorado with a complete lineup.

+120 RL is a better play


80% of the Tigers win in the second half have been by 2+ runs 


There is a giant difference between - 170 and + 120. You gotta win at about 64% to make any money at - 170 and only about 50% to make money at +120

I'm not taking the -1.5 RL on home teams anymore. I got moosed way to many times with a one run victory late in the game. It should cash but I'm staying safe with the ML. I'm parlaying the Doyers -1 RL with the Tigers ML for some extra juice

Why not take Tigers -1 along with Dodgers -1?

The Tigers ML is only -167 while the Doyer ML is in the two hundreds and the A's are much better than the Cubs. I'm just gonna play it safe and not get greedy.

You gotta look at the teams/matchups when you are playing runlines

The best teams for runlines are those who score a lot of runs because the majority of their wins are by 2+ runs. Year after year, teams like the Tigers, Yankees and Rangers primarily win their games by 2+ runs (Rangers a little less so this year because their offense is not as good as usual)

If the wind is blowin out (or at least not knocking down flyballs) I'd take the over. Anibal won't lock down the A's IMO.

Griffin is a flyball out pitcher, and he leads the majors in HRs given up. Tigers hit a lot of em and esp at home. But they need men on base a solo HR is not enuff. Lets say they hit 3 HRs. Well, a 3-0 lead is NOT great for a RL win, but it helps for the over if the road dog competes.

A's were just a keyy hit away from competing yesterday. The basterds know how to load the bases, and I for one do NOT trust Aniballe.

1.92 ERA at home this year.  1.29 ERA last start vs A's.

You realize he's #1 in the league in ERA right? 

And it's no fluke, his peripheral statistics are excellent - more than 1K per inning. I'd take him over Verlander for example by a country mile right now

Now, the Tiggers might get a boatload of runs, but if the A's don't load the bases at least twice tomorrow, well, my thoughts are waaaay off the mark then. They will.

Sanchez is the best pitcher in the AL. If he loses, it will likely be something like a 2-1 game

Very hard to imagine the struggling A's offense getting much offense against him

The A's really on there pitching and defense to win ball games. Sanchez isn't going to get lit it up by the A's and all the Tigers need is a man or two on base and one home run off of Griffin which shouldn't be hard since he gives up at least one home run per start.

Awesome... Public will be all over the Tigers..



Tigers are one of those teams that look great on paper but love friggin bettors at home!!! If your thinking of playing them beware A's are not playing good ball but will win a game in this series...Other things to consider Tigers are riding high coming of a good road trip... And your getting desperate A's team thats trying to keep pace with the rangers!!!
