What's up fellas. As the days draw closer to opening day, I find my self a little more impatient waiting for the season to begin. I will be using this thread to discuss things that I think could have implications on the season to come. Looking forward to another great year.

Growing quite impatient over here too, I got another month until fantasy baseball drafts begin. Braves look to be solid, I see the Marlins in the mix in that division. I see the phillies having a letdown season after a Halladay injury, and the mets will possibly surprise with contention? Should be interesting. Im hopin my cubbies get back to playing with intensity to get back to the playoffs....

Keep an eye out for Jason Heyward in Atlanta. If this kid can handle the pressure of the bigs he could be just what the Braves need to spark there lineup.

I think the NL East is going to be very competitive this year. The Phillies are the easy front runners but do not overlook the Marlins, Mets, or Braves. I think the Braves will slip in the playoffs with the wild card. Heyward will most likely start in the minors, the same way they treated Hanson last year, and I really think he will be a stud this year and provide some of the power offense they are missing.

Braves always have a good team. Very consistent. That is a tough division. I think the Marlins are going to make some noise also. I can see the Wild Card coming out of that division.

Looking at the NL East Bullpens...Mets look to be the best. Atlanta's definitely has question marks, as does Philly. Marlin's BP scares me...and, hell, the Nats look like they started all over again. Everybody has explosive bats....Will be paying attention to over/unders. Of the group, though, only Philly has a legitimate over park.

Opinions on Baltimore?
O's
I really feel that Dave Trembley is taking this club in the right direction. I like the aquisition of Millwood, as I think they will get deep in games with his arm. Adam Jones is a beast. I think Tejada has some left in the tank. Don't think this year will be magical, however, the terrible O's are improving. I would not be surpised to see them put up a 75-77 W season.
