"an initial search and then a search with drug dogs yielded nothing. We're told when officers searched the car a third time, they discovered less than 20 grams of marijuana."

Haslem's car, worth more than $100,000, may face forfeiture, according
to court records. The speeding ticket brings a $269 fine, and FHP
spokesman Sgt. Mark Wysocky said Haslem was also cited for having
illegal window tint.
How in the world can his car be forfeited in this situation

A really stupid law I think is what his attorney said when I heard him on radio with the car being > 100k. He will not lose his car though. Attorney said he is confident charges will get thrown out which means he will take a lesser plea from state. I think thing will get plead down to misdemeanor and he will keep car (stands at a 3rd degree felony charge now).

He would have been better off driving drunk. You can overdose on booze not pot. Booze only is for stupid box sheep.
Whats the difference between a pothead and a drunk?
The drunk drives through a stop sign the pothead waits for the stop sign to turn green.
Pot kills and is for Losers...
No debating it... (ignorant view of some wacko talking out of his ass again with his propaganda)
all joking aside, you are correct that it is not lethal and you can overdose... Majority of substance related deaths and illness actually come from nicotine because it causes cancer THC does not...
Let's be real tho that just like high doses of alcohol effects driving, high doses of THC effects driving ability (but does so differently)...
If anything the THC guy sits at the light and waits too long... and therefore the effect of THC of his driving is not necessarily as dangerous as driving drunk...
But this talking reality, not some type of political/world view agenda...
