I don't know if you're watching, but the table they showed displaying some postseason stats of Eli and Brady since '07 really has no relevance.  Absolutely none.  Eli is not near the QB that Brady is, and they essentially are trying to put him in the same class.  The problem is, you can't look at just W-L, yds/game, and TD/INT in the postseason since '07 and then draw from that that Eli is "in the same class", or "the better QB since '07", or anything of the sort.

It's just a stupid take.  Eli is doing some great things, but everybody really needs to chill out.  Brady is lightyears better, so is Brees.  So is Rodgers.  So is Roethlisberger.  Rivers is better.  And Stafford might become better in no time at all.

He's got a lot of work to do before he's mentioned in the same sentence as Brady, and it may never happen.

I agree. You can't have awful years like the g-men have had where if I can recall you don't even make playoffs and be called great or in the Qb's class you mentioned. Personally though i don't like seeing big ben in that category either but just my opinion. I know you won't agree with that one lol. More so just have respect for your great d during Steel then big ben.

At what point do you consider him a great QB? If wins another Super Bowl, don't you have to consider him as one the better qb's. I had this discussion with a friend of mine. Eli has to be considered in the top 5 qb's that are playing today. In 2007 he took his team on the road in the playoffs and eventually won the Super Bowl, and he is about to do it again. How can you not consider him a good or great qb? I don't know if its because of his brother, but Eli doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Based on not only stats but what they do for their team. My opnion. P. Manning not included since he didn't play this year.

    2. Rodgers

    3. Brees

    4. Eli

Yeah i can't argue that either. For this year at least I think this is bang on. I prolly wouldn't even have ben in that list.

Eli could achieve greatness.  He is very good, and after all is said and done, who knows what he can accomplish.  But the media really needs to get a grip on reality.  Of course we're gonna hear this shit for the next seven days with all the hype, but really?  Why not, for the sake of good sports reporting, keep reality a constant and idiotic comparisons out of discussion?  I guess that's too much to ask.

I think hes in the same class. I;m not an Eli fan, and I am from New England, and I think they're in the same class. Eli had a great year, and look at what he has done on the road in the playoffs. Eli said at the onset of the season that he was an elite QB, and then came out and played like nothing but.

I think the biggest story is where this puts Payton. Either way he takes a hit. Brady getting dressed at his locker, essentially, will get his 4th if the Pats take it. Making it VERY unlikely, if not impossible, Payton would ever catch him. If Eli wins, then hes not even the best QB in his family anymore, as Eli will have one up on him, again, is his own backyard. Oh how the great fall...

1-0 vs Brady in the Superbowl is an eyeopener. What happens if the Giants win next Sunday and he becomes 2-0 vs Brady in the Superbowl?
I know one thing for sure I won't under estimate Eli.

If you think Rivers is better than Eli you are an imbecile

    Rivers is better?

When Ben won his 2nd SB playing behind another top notch defense you couldnt put Ben's johnson in your mouth quick enough. Claiming 2 super bowls the man is a god.

If Eli wins his 2nd, will you make room for Eli's johnson?
